I bought this for the vinyl I would mail away for but when I opened the code says expired 1/13/17. I tried entering it anyways and website says code is expired. Do not buy if you're trying to get the vinyl! Not worth the price for just the single CD - 'might as well get the 2CD. Ugh.

Album on CD plus vinyl. Great album by one of the first super groups from Seattle. Too bad Chris Cornell has since passed. This is a great album

With Chris Cornell's powerful voice, Matt Cameron's ratatat drumming, Mike McCready's insane guitar prowess, Eddie Vedder's backing vocals, and Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard bringing up the rest of the electric strings, Temple of the Dog pays tribute to their fallen friend and creates a beautiful album about friendship, lost opportunities, addiction, and faith. You can't miss this album if you're a fan of the Seattle sound, or are interested in seeing the deeper cuts from Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.

This is an excellent album combining two of the most distinct voices of the 90s, Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder, and it does not disappoint. "Hunger Strike" and "Say Hello 2 Heaven" are the ones that even the most casual fan will recognize but the album is much deeper than just those two songs. Touching on many social subjects, I think the album made a statement that is still relevant to this day. If you listened to it when it first came out and dismissed it, do yourself a favor and revisit it. The 2016 mix is phenomenal and it takes an already great album and makes it better.. My personal favorite is "Wooden Jesus"

I bought this for the combo deal of the CD + LP. For the money, it's a great deal that I'd highly suggest taking advantage of any time Best Buy offers it. Redemption and shipping of the LP was extremely fast. Redeemed it on a Sunday and the LP was delivered by Wednesday of the same week. No frills, just a standard single LP but for the money, tough to beat that kind of deal.

When I bought the CD, I was super impressed with the remix and remaster job. Also, there was a code for a free vinyl record. Redeeming the code was super easy. There is a voucher in the CD. Go to the website listed on the voucher, put in the code and your address, and the vinyl will arrive within a few days. It was super easy. Money well spent!

Great classic album. Don't buy this for the free vinyl offer though, as it expired Jan 13 after only 10 weeks. Best Buy, to their credit, took it back when I explained though. If you did not buy this when it came out in the 90's you missed a classic. Pick it up. I have since repurchased it on vinyl for my collection.

This CD is a Remaster of the original. All these songs are great and Sounds very much like early SOUNDGRADEN with Chris Cornels Screaming vocals. Is a must have if you like 90's Grunge or just Rock. The best part of picking up this CD is that you also get a FREE copy of the Album shipped to your house at NO COST by entering code online included in CD. The CD was priced at $16 so i used my $5 rewards and it came out to $11 for the CD and The Album which was delivered very fast to my house. Great Deal.

The album is fantastic, but with this specific deal you're actually just getting the CD. You have to send in for the Vinyl, but according to other reviewers that expired. So I returned mine right away. So really its just a CD. If you want the vinyl, look elsewhere.

This album is awesome. Classic Cornell. My only issue is I paid for a CD with the vinyl, but when I went to redeem the code for the vinyl I found out that the code had expired..... wish I would have known this..... I wouldn't have paid extra for that "free" vinyl......

Buy the cd get a vinyl for free. Seems too good to be true right? Wrong!! and shipping on the vinyl was lightning fast!! The vinyl is not the same as the reissue in stores. It's a single lp version but it sounds great. I LOVE this concept!! Thank you Best Buy!

I actually don't LOVE this album, but it has a soft spot in my heart...BUT for 16.99, you not only get the CD version but you can send for a VINYL copy! It is a must buy. The vinyl was at my door step within 5 days of ordering it, I could not be more impressed.

There's nothing better than buying a CD and then getting a copy of the vinyl in the mail. It took less than a week for the vinyl to get to me too! CD and vinyl both sound fantastic. Very good album, Hunger Strike is one of the best grunge songs.

What a great concept. Sell the CD and get a free vinyl version of album in the mail. Not sure how Best Buy makes money on this deal.

One of my very first albums I bought and one of my favorite. You simply can not have the talent of each member of this band and not write great songs. Each song brings a tear to my eye as I sing every word with every breath in my lungs.

the vinyl record showed up as 1LP unlike the new 2LP that I wanted. Will keep because it was still a good deal

I love this music but was very disappointed to discover that the vinyl was only "while supplies last".

Love the CD but only bought it because it was supposed to come with a code for a vinyl record. Well, the code it came with expired in January and so far, no response from Best Buy for resolution

I had been searching for this album and I'm gracious it was in store the day I got it! Also, it came with a code the enter and receive the vinyl version - which came in a week later!

Wife really likes the music. She is looking forward to another from the same group.
