I have multiple camera bags but I love this one. I try not to carry a large bag unless needed but I am always worried that if I do not I will damage something . This bag allows me to carry everything that I need including my iPad and the size is perfect for me. If i need to carry it on my body it is not too large and bulky. I love the fact that when I sit the bag on the floor it does not fall over like the other bags.
I watched the video from the Tenba website to make sure I utilize all of the features. I did not like the price but I am happy that I made the purchase It was worth it, you get what you pay for. I plan to purchase another for my other camera and lens.

Best Camera Bag So Far

I have had several camera bags over the years, none of which were really a good "fit" — they always seemed cumbersome or hard to organize. I don't like backpack style bags and I returned a "sling" type bag after one day. I had a Tenba several years ago that I liked quite well, and when my niece had the opportunity to go to the Cannes Film Festival, I gave it to her to carry her new Canon T6i and additional gear. She loved it. But that left me without a bag! I thought I could make do with an old bag, but I didn't relish the thought of using it for the 3 week trip I had coming up. So I bought this bag. I love it. It has the right number of compartments to store all my camera goodies (a Canon 77D, with two lenses, battery charger, extra battery, speedlite, memory cards, room for an iPad…) It's a great bag and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Just the right size - Tenba - DNA 11 Messenger Bag

This is my second Tenba Messenger bag and i love them both. I have the larger DNA 13 for my full sized DSLR. This one ( DNA 11 ) will accommodate a full sized DSLR, but its a little tighter then the 13. I use this for my smaller camera. The Nikon P900. Shaped like a DSLR, but is little smaller. Fits perfectly in this bag. This bag has tons of storage for all of your camera gear. The main compartment inside is removable and comes with the cushioned inserts with Velcro on the ends so that they can be installed in many different configurations to separate everything inside. The bag is made from a water repellent military grade 1000 denier nylon, YKK zippers, Duraflex clips, steel D rings and a waterproof bottom panel according to their website. I can say that the material is water repellent and feels very durable. The zippers with the loops are awesome. The magnetic clips that close the bag are very cool. Clicks to lock in a second and easy to unlock to open the flap. Tons of pockets on the outside for smaller gear such as filters, cleaning products, cell phone etc. The bag also comes in 4 colors. Also love the quick access pocket at the top without opening the flap. Too many features to mention for this small review. Check it out on their site. It's an awesome bag!

I wanted a bag for all my electronics (iPad, iPod, thumb drives, head phones, etc.). When I went into the store I saw this bag and saw all the compartments, which would allow me to separate all my gadgets. In addition, its taller size made it perfect to also store my iPad. The only drawback, which is why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars, is the hefty price. I made the mistake of not looking at the price when I picked it up, so was a little shocked when I got to the checkout and found that it was $140.

This bag is not only light weight but can hold way more than meets the eye. I use this for my Sony A7II, one extra lens, table tripod, sling, 2 GoPro blacks, GoPro brackets, memory cards, notebook, and tablet every where I go walking around. Sometimes you just don't want to carry a backpack and this is a great replacement.
There's also a strap so you can hook this up to itself and old it around your back instead of a messenger back, keeps the bag out of the way, and in a precarious situation can make a cushion if you fall. I fell 15 feet down a cliff face onto a boulder with this in-between me and it (yes camera inside) and midget injured nor was my equipment damaged. I can't speak more highly of this bag.

Good bag for DSLR camera

I bought this bag for my Canon Rebel DSLR. It has a lot of great features. I wanted a bag which did not look like a standard camera bag. This is a messenger bag. It has lots of pockets to hold all kinds of accessories for my camera. I carry my camera and flash unit as well as two lenses additional to the one on the camera plus a couple sun shields all in the main compartment which is configurable. It is a bit cramped, but I did not want to go with the next size up. There are lots of additional pockets for other things such as extra battery, battery charger, cleaning supplies, manuals, and memory cards. It also has an additional piece on the strap that allows you to fasten the pack on your back for when you are riding a bicycle. It keeps the camera bag from swinging around and awkwardly hanging in front of you around your neck while riding the bike. I am able to get the camera and lenses from the top of the bag (zippered) without having to unfasten the fasteners and flaps on the bag, There are quick release fasteners if you prefer to open the flap instead.

This bag can hold a camera with a couple lenses and accessories. Very comfortable padded sling with grip so that the bag can easily move from behind you to in front. Easy access zipper at the top is crucial when cruising around the city getting shots. I like that the bag will hold my macbook air 13inch even though it says it only holds a smaller computer.

The Tenba DNA 11 is very well made with abundant storage options for your camera and accessories. It also includes an all-weather cover for wet or rainy conditions. I was able to fit my Nikon D500 with a lens attached and still had room for two other lenses. Additionally, it could hold my iPhone 6s Plus, user manual, memory cards, water bottle, and other items with ease. There is a separate compartment for your iPad or small laptop and many hidden pockets for your passport, currency and other important documents. Even though the bag became very heavy when fully loaded, it still felt relatively comfortable and secure on my shoulder and was easy to maneuver while traveling. I really appreciate its compactness when compared to a backpack and there is quick and easy access to your equipment from a hidden zipper in the top flap. Another advantage is that you can keep the bag in front of you for added security. Some complaints are the velcro tabs on some of the dividers seem unnecessary and the magnetic quick release tabs are easily dislodged. Overall, the Tenba served me excellently on a recent trip to Europe as a travel and camera bag while not looking like an obvious camera bag.

Love this bag! All of my necessary equipment fits in this bag: three large zoom lenses, full frame camera body, flash, extra battery, and accessories. I wish it didn't cost so much, but I couldn't find anything this good for less.

This bag has great size for your gears. I use it for dslr or mirrorless camera with extra lens and gopro with the 3-in1 stick and still with plenty of room to put my ipad or 13" macbook pro. The only thing i didn't like is that the stiching on the inside padding kinda got lose. Not sure why but its an easy fix so no big deal.

This is a pretty awesome bag. I can fit my Nikon D5500, 3 lenses, accessories and my Dell XPS 13" laptop in at once, will room left to spare. I'd love to have a tripod strap or something built in, but none the less it does its job and I like it.

I just got back on a 7 day cruise where I took my camera to the beach, rain forest, and more. I was able to comfortably hold my camera and 3 lenses and it looked pretty great too. I love the ease of access of the top zipper and having my tablet in the protected pocket was there as well. Great buy.

This is the best bag I've ever had. I didn't use it as a camera bag, but for my 11 inch MacAir instead after taking the bag's "guts" out. I love it. It was pretty pricey and it's hard for me to say that you should buy a $100 bag, but if you can find it on sale, it may be a worthwhile investment.

I purchased this particular bag to hold my Pro DSLR, and it fits nicely upright with a short zoom lens attached. It also has room for a flash and a second lens. With this camera bag it is less conspicuous than the traditional black color. All in all a great bag for my needs.

This is a great bag! Plenty of room to store my camera gear and even my surface pro 4. I have the smaller version as well. But to be perfectly honest, I returned this bag for another bag. I thought it was too similar to the smaller one, and I wanted to try the peak design everyday messenger.

I have a Nikon V1 with 2 lenses. I don't think a larger DSLR and more than 2 lenses would work in this bag. I had my camera, wallet, sunglasses and some other accessories in this bag. It was perfect for my needs as a tourist, but for a more serious photographer it probably isn't big enough. It seems very well made, with lots of pockets to store of extras. A little pricey, but I now have a bag to take of everything I needed.

Great Bag For All Your Gear

I've been looking / shopping for a while, for a versatile gear bag. One of the 1st things I noticed about this bag is the zipper on top - how does this work? where does this go? I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a quick access to my gear without opening the bag itself. Much easier to get access to what I need without opening all my gear to the world. Placement of pockets is a plus. The internal side pockets hold cables, charges, batteries, etc. whatever you need.
If you looking for a gear bag for your electronics (camera, camcorder, GoPro, drone (doesn't hold a drone, but the gear for your drone), etc.) this bag is worth looking at.
Another bonus is style. This bag does not look like all the rest. It works efficiently without all the fuss of other bags, and looks as well as it performs.
