Tenchi Muyo War On Geminar: Part 1 (5 Disc) (W/Dvd) - Blu-ray Disc. I would recommend for young adult teens to adult, not for children under 14 years of age.

Genre: Comedy, Action, Fantasy Length: 7 episodes, 322 minutes "Fifteen year old Kenshi Masaki was taken from his home planet, transported to a galaxy far, far away, and captured by a gorgeous princess! This royal beauty claims Kenshi as her personal servant - and lends him out to all the lecherous ladies at her prestigious boarding school. On the rare occasion Kenshi doesn't have his hands full with a curvaceous coed, he can be found training for the intergalactic mecha battle royale looming on the horizon. Helping the princess save her planet is Kenshi's ticket home, but losing means he'll be stuck scrubbing backs in the interstellar sauna for the rest of his life! Every boy should be so lucky." Eh, the description given for this one just doesn't do it justice. Kenshi is a relative to the good ol' Tenchi that this franchise is named after! Somehow he's been kidnapped and forced into the role of an assassin in order to try to win his freedom and return home. After failing in his mission to assassinate princess Leshara, he is enlisted in her services to help find the culprits that want her dead. Kenshi's life is about to be turned upside down. War on Geminar actually has a pretty good plot line going on with it and each episode leaves off with a good cliffhanger that keeps reeling you in for more. Comedy is this series' bread and butter, though. The jokes and harassment keep on coming nonstop. Kenshi is the boytoy of a good dozen women by the end of this volume and it only keeps growing. Loved the English voice-casting that Funimation did. Everyone fit into their roles amazingly and I didn't even think about swapping the vocals over to Japanese. Extras are just slightly above average with commentaries, trailers, and a few Japanese trailers as well. Loved this series and I've already finished the 2nd volume after finishing this one. Don't be scared of it only being 7 episodes like I was. They're easily double-length which is great for non-stop watching!
