I have a couple of these and they seem to work OK. I typically listen to AM radio in the mornings as I am getting ready for work. The AM antenna mostly works with no problems. Once in a while, I get a little buzzing, which means I have to move or rotate it a little. The FM portion seems to work well on all but the lower end of the dial. On the lower end, the FM will also occasionally buzz a little, which means you have to move or rotate it a little, sometimes, but not as often as the AM.

wow what a difference this powered antenna has made. I was receiving terrible reception in my RV park. after installing this antenna I now receive a crystal clear receptions , also picked up quite a few new stations.

I purchased this antenna because I could not get my favorite FM country station to come in on the new stereo system I purchased. The station came in perfectly in my car in the garage which was on the other side of the wall from the stereo. Once the antenna was attached the station came in. My only complaint is that I need to put a small shelf on the wall above the stereo to sit the antenna on to get the best reception. I am glad that this worked as it is the only one they carried in the store.

This is my second Terk antenna. I use one on each of my stereo systems. I am satisfied with the performance, but the price is too high.

We recently discovered a new favorite FM radio station. But, we are in Buffalo, NY and the station is in Southern Ontario, Canada. The plain wire antenna on our receiver just wasn't doing the trick unless you stood there and held it. This antenna works really well and we use it all the time. Once in a while, you lose the signal if you stand by it - but it's not a big deal. I haven't tried it for an AM station yet - but nobody listens to AM anymore anyway.

This was everything I have hoped for and it works awesome and brings in channels I never thought we would get.

Building is terrible for radio reception. Tried a couple of other antennas over the years...this one works about the same as others...can only catch one channel in office. But, that is better than nothing.

Where we live the radio signal tends to loose a channel every little bit. With this antenna, that almost never happens. It is easy to install, but the wires are too short and the included adapter was the wrong size for our use (it would not make good contact with the antenna connector on the back of the receiver. Overall, very pleased with the unit and would buy it again.

The radio reception in my building is terrible (Thank God for cable). This antenna brings all the channels in clearly. Glad I made this purchase.

I like the styling and it is not very big. It helps pick up some weaker signals.

The reception in my Fremont Ca. house has always been a problem. I tried a couple other antennas, One with and one without power. Both left much to be desired, like the obvious. I bought this Terk a few weeks ago and went from poor reception to very good reception. Definitely does the job. I gave it 4 stars because I believe there's always room for a little improvement in electronics.

This over all is a good product. I was using old rabbit ear style antenna before and felt it was time to get rid of the ugly things. The only thing I don't like is the blue light in the front of it. I find it draws attention to something id rather forget is there. it also was a bit pricy. but overall it works and looks better the old antenna

This is my 2nd powered Terk antenna. I tripped over the wires of my first one and broke it to pieces. This one is prettier not a reason to get it but it's better than ugly. Connected leads, plugged it in and it worked fine. Totally painless installation. I even got a couple of weaker channels better now.

We moved to a new house in a different part of town and suddenly found that we had practically no radio signal. This item was recommended by a BestBuy representative, and I tried it. It definitely gave me better reception and I get more stations than before. But It does not seem to keep its reception consistently from day to day. It is adjustable both by moving the large outer ring and by turning the control knob. This helps somewhat, but again, it does not stay from day to day. Radio stations that were strong yesterday might be gone today even though I have not touched the antenna. Honestly, I suspect our location may require a larger outdoor style antenna.

This costs way too much for a device that is near to seeing the end. You'd think this kind of thing would be cheaper given how big internet streaming is, but its not. If you absolutely need this in a pickle and need AM/FM radio, its not the worst option. Does the job with most amps/receivers.

I picked it because it was powered the one that came with the stereo would only pick up 2 channels

Upgraded from a 15 year old ant and now I get stations I did not know existed. Great purchase.

I purchased this antenna for my bose stereo. Every time I would turn it on to the AM stations you wouldn't hear anything clear. I hookup this antenna to it and it does the job. Able to hear the news now. I'm a great camper!

Just what I was looking for and needed. I have an older model radio and it works perfect.

First off I live in a Valley so signal of radio stations is sketchy at Best. So took a chance bought this antenna, helped a lot..
