Customers are saying

Customers highly value the excellent reception and ease of use of the Amplified Multi-Directional Ultra-Thin XL HDTV Antenna, frequently praising the clear picture quality and the ability to receive many channels. However, some customers experienced issues with signal strength and overall performance, particularly in challenging weather conditions or locations. A few also commented on the antenna's size, suggesting it might be too large for some installations.

I bought the Terk amplified TV antenna and it picks up tons of channels especially fox 5 Atlanta and channel 2 which I watch a lot. Very clear reception. Saves money via a cable company.

This is a fantastic antenna, but needs to be mounted in a location with minimal obstructions to work as intended. When mounted on a window near our television we picked up around 40 channels, most with poor reception with the signals passing through a few walls. After moving the antenna to the attic in our two-story home, we picked up 80 channels, most with perfect reception. The reception range is accurate with a few channels scanned being 55-60 miles away. Our local HD channels (25-30 miles) are crystal clear. Very impressed with the performance of such a thin, low profile antenna.

This is unbelievable how many over the air stations I receive. I use this in my 5th wheel camper. Even tho my camper came with one outside on the roof. The reception is choppy when I use my camper TV antenna. I have no problem whatsoever receiving multiple channels, clear and never have any choppy signal and this is an indoor antenna and the app helps with placement so I can get the best signal possible. At any given time I have anywhere between 15 to 40 different channels from different towers. This antenna is great. I’m a customer for life.

This is a great buy! My local Best Buy staff in the tv section recommended this specific antenna when I asked what indoor antenna is returned the least. I asked if it meahed with what he would say is the best and he agreed. I went with it and it works great. It is boosted, powered by usb so you can plug it right in to your tv if it has a usb port. I put min in the window and i get all my locals. Its great! Couldnt ask for a better antenna.

Pluses: mounting flat on the wall, makes it much less conspicuous than other solutions. It found many more stations than several other previously tried antenna systems. However, only able to receive one local station. Lists three other local stations found, but When clicking on, cannot find a strong enough signal to get any picture or sound. Used a signal finder app to determine which direction the antenna should face. Unfortunately, no walls in my house, face that direction, forcing me to use a wall which seemed most likely to get the strongest signals. I was initially excited about the large number of signals located, but disappointing that many did not work. Another mystery is that I am able to get more working channels on Somedays and fewer or others - with no changes in the equipment or antenna. Conclusion: disappointed in the results I am getting. - living in very non-level hilly location. Might be better suited on flatter terrain.

I just moved to an apartment on the first floor of a 3 story building. I don't have much clearance for an antenna, but I thought I would give it a try rather than spending $80 to $125 a month for live tv - I'm 62 years old and grew up with free live tv so I'm not a fan of having to pay a premium for something that is free. Now, the following is my experience using the antenna. I found the antenna to be of good quality and it was easy to connect. Had I been able to get all the channels I wanted, the value of the antenna would excellent. The very few channels it did pick up had a great picture and I would have been thrilled if I could have gotten the channels I like. For this reason, I gave 5 stars. Another positive outcome from my experience is that I've been able to break my addiction to news playing on my office tv all day long and have directed my interests to more positive activities.

I live in Ellicott City Maryland in a condo. My old window attenna gave me very poor reception. This attenna is much better for major networks. When weather is good I can pull in PBS from Washington DC.

This brought in all local stations close to Detroit. Hoping it will work in more rural area. .Had to move it to tune one main station, annoying. I didnt.like the floppy style and the cords were too short and couldnt reach closest window. eindow.

Kind of difficult to install flops around too much. It’d be nice if the top end of it would have a stiffer edge to help you and install installing it.

More channels for less!!! I began getting the stations we had watched regularly that we lost when we dropped cable. We began watching other stations that I hadn't seen before too. The picture is at least as clear as cable would have been. Worth the investment!!

I had bought a multi-directional outdoors antennae online, and it was junk, didn't give good signal. Then my brother recommended an indoor one so I bought this one and hung it in the top of one of my windows, and it works very well with very few blips. Easy to hook to my Samsung smart TV and get about 60 channels including the main ones.

Easy set-up, works well. Weather, especially some recent days of high air pollution, smoke, has some impact on reception. Overall, I am more than pleased. Obviously it is not as reliable as cable but I am saving $110. monthly and find this is a satisfactory option to unreasonable cable costs. If I want, I am able to stream shows from my laptop via an hdmi cable with no problem, which provides me additional cable free options. So gar, I haven’t bothered, being content with the wide range of stations I get.

We have annopen field next door with lots of trees and old tree in front of our house so we can't get a full signal, other than our is a is with trees, it's a good buy. We'll work best where there aren't any trees.

We have a cottage that has no access to cable, dish or Wi-Fi. Until recently, we mostly used the TV to watch DVDs. We had a "rabbit ear" antenna that we attempted to use on occasion to watch the news, but the reception/signal was so bad it wasn't worth turning on the TV. A friend recently cut her cable and purchased this antenna so she could watch local channels. She was very happy with it, so we thought we'd give it a try. We are VERY glad we did. While the number of stations available to us are limited by our physical location, the six we do get are clear as a bell, the pictures are sharp and bright and the sound is good. This is a monstrously huge improvement over the two "blizzards" we previously had almost-access to. We are very happy with this Terk antenna.
