Who Knows TBH
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this antenna as a gift for my mother who lives in a very rural area. She is easily 50 miles from a tower. No cable available. We scanned for digital channels and received 2 more than she had. Still no NBC. Without comparing it to a less expensive model I don't know if it's "great". The design is nice. It was easy to set up. Just don't know if it is worth the high price in comparison to something 1/3 of the price.

Convenient multi angle capability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this antenna did not pull in more stations than our previous antenna, we think it is functional and appreciate the ability to attach the base to accommodate the location. The base is not heavy duty, but does the job. The antenna itself is sturdy and is working in a cabinet environment without a direct line of sight to the outside. The reason for 4 not 5 is with the advertised range I would have expected to receive more stations than with my previous antenna.

Good antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Brought in more channels then the rabbit ears I had. Could use a longer cord to get it higher

Good design, expensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impressed with the quality of the unit overall and the fact that it has a decent gauge coaxial cable coming out of it to connect to the TV. I bought it hoping it would pull in more stations than a $29 1byone flat panel antenna I was already using. Unfortunately the Terk performed no better than that, and yet it cost $50 more. I ended up returning it and went with an outdoor rooftop antenna because of my distance from the towers. Both flat panel units brought in 21 channels, of which only about 14 had reliably strong enough signals to watch consistently, whereas a small RCA rooftop antenna immediately captured 45 channels, all of which come in great day or night. I don't think I would count on any of the small indoor flat panel antennas to be good for anything more than about 30 miles away from the broadcast Towers. My house is almost 50 miles away.

Works better than I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna performs better than I expected. I know the performance has a lot to do with your location, but being an indoor antenna I did not expect much. It picked up 30 channels after doing a channel scan. It seems to work better when laying flat in a horizontal position vs vertically. I lost a few channels after setting it up vertically, but they were channels I would never watch anyway. The only complaint I have is that the amplifier plugs into the wall, not the USB port on the TV, which is what the salesman indicated. It would also be nice if the antenna wire was longer.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two of these indoor antennas for my home. One for the living room and one for the bedroom. After some minor adjustments I am able to watch TV without any problems in the living room but I have not had the same results in the bedroom. Both tv’s and antennas are against the same outside wall so I don’t quite understand why I am having so much trouble getting good reception in the bedroom.

Great reception, if you find the ideal position
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This amplified antenna does get clear pictures on the broadcast channels coming from the Tampa antenna farm in Ruskin FL that is about 35 miles from my home. I use it on my primary HDTV in my living room and have it mounted on top of a bookcase and facing windows on the opposite wall. I do notice that the antenna is VERY directional and must be positioned just right to get as many of the Tampa area stations as possible. Finding this position took MANY rescans on my HDTV. I cannot get any of the Orlando stations that are about 50 miles distant, no matter how the antenna is oriented. I think I will eventually try mounting an omnidirectional antenna in my attic to serve both TVs in my home.

It works; not great

Works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just cut the cord after having an unpleasant phone call with the cable. company. The online reviews don’t do this justice. It works. That being said, it works very well. Easy to install, easy to setup. I have all my local channels and then some. In my area, I receive about 20 channels. I’m very happy with this.

Good antenna for UHD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this antenna for my new TV. It was working perfectly. Then I lost some channels. I took off the little box supposed to make you have a stronger reception of the channels and the channels I lost were back. It works perfectly after and the quality of the image is the same. I recommend this product especially if you live far away from the channels towers.

Excellent Reception if Properly Positioned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't used an antenna for television broadcasts for decades, so I was surprised to see that broadcast TV within a reasonable range of the broadcast tower (20 miles in my case) produced a quality of picture comparable to cable TV. My local ABC network affliiate came through this antenna with excellent clarity, color and brightness; no haze, snow or interference and no fluxuations at all. That said, different stations have different transmission power, so they won't all appear with the exact same signal quality. Another factor is positioning. The antenna needs to be mounted on a wall, or upright near a window on the side of the house closest to the broadcasting tower. Anything less than that can cause the picture to pixellate or freeze during broadcasts. So take it home, test all the channels you can get and try placing the antenna in different positions to be sure it works in your home. If there's a good signal where you are, you'll get a great picture. It's worth the effort to get real broadcast TV free of monthly charges. Like the good ol' days. (And you don't have to climb on the roof anymore.)

Great product for basic services
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this antenna after being fed up with extremely high cable costs, and cutting the cable cord once and for all. I first attached the antenna to the TV in my living room. I was able to get 63 channels, but because the TV was on an inside wall, I could not get any clear sound. I moved the antenna to my bedroom, where the TV is closer to a window. There, I was able to get clear reception and clear sound with no problems! The box is rather unsightly, sitting on top of my wall mounted TV (I got the best reception there) but I’ve cut out an extra $100 bill per month, so I’m quite happy with my purchase!

TV CABLE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV Cable is amazing for anyone not wanting to pay for cable and wants to see some normal channels. It is very touchy as in sometimes in certain spots it does not work for certain channels. so it can be annoying having to move it. but overall it is a great connection!! Love being able to watch some of my favorite shows without paying a monthly bill.

Indoor TV antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed antenna for TV in our party room on ground floor of Condo complex. Hook up was very easy and we now get 47 over the air TV channels. This is even though we have brick wall and cement block that the signal has to go through. Very clear picture

Nice indoor antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked this particular indoor antenna for several reasons: (1) the cable from the antenna to the television was long enough to reach from the top of my cabinet to the back of the television with plenty of spare length, (2) the design was attractive in design, (3) the antenna was designed to pick up television digital broadcasts up to 45 miles. However, in my personal situation, due to the location of my home being surrounded by fairly high bluffs in La Crosse County, I was not able to pick up all three local stations (CBS, ABC, and NBC), which was important to me if discontinuing paying for cable service. I would recommend this to a friend knowing the product can be returned for a full refund if it doesn't meet your specific needs.

Worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these antennas and both are working great! I like that they are slim and don’t take up a lot of room. They get a great clear picture. Occasionally it will pixelate (I believe that’s the word) but only when the weather is bad and it’s only for a few seconds. Only lost signal one in a horrific rain storm with a tornado near my area! Also, easy to install.

Not impressed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were told that this antenna was "the best". It's not. We have tried different methods, such as both plugged in and out, moving location above and below television (which is mounted about 4 feet high), laying in horizontal and vertical... It receives the same amount of channels as my rabbit ear antenna by RCA. Not worth the price.

Decent Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to finally drop cable and to my surprise I am getting decent coverage. I was hopeful, as I tried other and only received 5 or 6 channels. This one I am getting good reception and about 30 channels, including the major networks. I would definitely purchase for another room.
