Terk antennae requires less repositioning

The Terk antennae was a snap to connect.
After rescanning the TV channel selection, I now receive 20 over the air stations (a far cry from the three stations we received when I was a kid).
Some stations weren’t scanned, like the major PBS station as well as the local ION station.
Planes can still interrupt the signal when their flight path brings them over my low spot in KoP
I would recommend this as a better option than RCA rabbit ears for digital TVs

purchased the terk flat digital antenna as a gift--unfortunately, the range was insufficient for the use location, so it was returned. have used terk products for well over a decade--they are dependable and provide great bang for the buck. disappointed that it didn't work out this time.

All but one local channel. Not to cumbersome. No contract required. I would like one for every tv but then it gets expensive just to watch tv. People have been recommending Netflix and telling me how much they like it. One show in particular was bog mouth on Netflix. I watched it and liked it but still don't know if I would recommend it to others quite different.

I tried numerous indoor antennae without much success. This one worked well after I finally found the exact location where it would pick up all the local stations in Louisville. My only regret was able to string a coaxial cable to the opposite site of the room. Fortunately I was able to conceal the cable on the fireplace mantel and behind books on the book shelf. Slight adjustments are required sometimes, turning it slight to the left or right. It's the best of all I have used.

I like this antenna but I LOVE not spending monthly on cable service and dumb box rentals.. Works best in a window. May need to be elevated. During bad weather, reception is spotty. However, we receive all local channels and the antenna picture on our UHDTV is better than cable on our flatscreen TV. We picked up Playstation Vue (just because it had Velocity, HGTV other VOD channels, free movies, plus all ESPN, SEC and BigTen sports. Alll for A LOT less than our $235 per month Cox cable bill.

Must be the apartment/distance to tower

I will first state that it must be the apartment I live in. Due to no reception, I had to connect a 15ft cable cord to extend the antenna to a window as well, I have to have the window open to receive a signal. As well, I live about 60 miles away from the major network towers, so signal strength is a concern. I will say when I do get a signal it looks crystal clear. I can imagine this would work well within a major city with major news networks.

Bought this thinking it would be so much better than a cheap one. If I remember correctly it was around$60-$80. I also bought a cheap flat winged one from another store for $15 and it gets as many channels if not more. Was disappointed for spending that much $ and it not delivering !

Great HD Antenna

I bought this antenna to hopefully cut the Comcast cord. When installed in my home however, I only received about 6 channels. I live in a small valley. So, it did not work for me, at my home. I then took it to a friends house who lives in the city. She received 33 channels. The picture was amazing and very clear! We watched the NCAA finals using it and the images looked as good as my cable feed. I did return this item due to the fact it did not work in my location. But I would recommend this antenna to anyone wanting to ditch the cable assuming you live in a good area to receive the signals.

Functionally this amplified HDTV antenna works great. It does matter where you put the Antenna. It works best when there is as little structure (your physical house) as possible. I received over 40 channels. The disappointing part was the type of programming available. Where I live all of the entertainment channels were older shows from the 70's and 80's. Unfortunately the family was not receptive to the 40 year old programming and I returned the antenna.
Summary : Product works 100% as expected, Available programming in my area was disappointing.

Although I live within the stated range of the antenna, I was not able to get more than 1 channel. The salesman has this very antenna and actually lives a little further out of town than me. I believe my poor reception is attributed to the wooded area surrounding me.

The antenna was purchased to receive the HD signals from the local area in Asheville, NC. The antenna picks up numerous channels and the picture is good quality. Some of the weaker signals are affected by movement in the room with the antenna.

TERK indoor flat amplified HDTV antenna didn't work for me. It's also too chunky to display in the living room. I ended up returning the unit to Best Buy.

Antenna works well, but not sure it lives up to its 60 mile radius claim. Having plaster walls may not help the situation. Wouldn't mind a longer cable with the kit (for the price) so as not to have it tethered so close to the TV. Can be remedied, but shouldn't have to buy successive products to have desired results.

This is an indoor antenna and by having it close to a window I am able to receive about 35 channels. This includes all the major networks, which is pretty good since our location is at least 50 miles from the broadcast location.

Antenna is a little bulky and more expensive than some others. Had to move around a bit to get the best signal and most channels. Took back a cheap competitor brand that didn’t work well at all to purchase this one.
