I bought this to pick up my local channels, but was only able to pick up 1. Intent was to use as a backup to online streaming, but it didn’t pick up the stations I needed

We purchased this indoor antenna upon the recommendation of an inattentive sales associate in the store. After taking it home, setting it up according to directions, etc., and with multiple attempts at positioning in different locations to get the possible spot for accessing the most channels, we packed this item up and returned it to the store.
It’s possible our home is surrounded by too many trees and we’re unable to get good reception from this type of antenna. After consulting other people, we were told it probably wouldn’t work even if placed in the attic.

we live in a semi rural area over 20 miles from local towers. The antenna works great and delivers a strong signal. The signal finding app is not as helpful as I thought it would be. It was not explained well. Once we figured out how to read the app and follow what direction our signals were coming from we were able to place our antenna in a good location, (we had to buy extra cable and adapters). We now get over 40 free channels on 2 TV's.

We had the leaf style and tried this upgrade, well our leaf one worked better with a less mile range rating, not sure why that worked like that .

Pictures are as good as cable. The hills around us do block some stations that we would otherwise receive.

This product w as s easy to set up but I couldn't use it because of where I live. It wasn't the product though. I tried multiple antennas and can't pick up channels in my location.

Unfortunately, this Terk amplified antenna does not compare eith other antennas (particularly leaf antennas) I've tested. Try a leaf antenna instead.

Free TV indeed. I cut the cord, the cable cord that is or in my case satellite cord. My monthly TV bill was outrageous and getting worse every month it seemed. after switching to a streaming service for my premium channels I purchased this to access my local channels. Boy was I surprised after hooking this to my TV. I was expecting somewhere between 10 and 15 channels but this antenna with its powered amplifier pulled in 36 channels.

For what it cost and for what it does it is OK. I thought I would get more channels. I use it for a bedroom TV. I get three channels. They are really clear. I guess if you move the Antenna around the room it might give you more channels but the cord is not that long. You would have to move the TV with it. At least I get three good channels so I can watch the news and some programs for free.

This antenna works good for local channels, but I don't believe we were getting all of the channels we should have.
