Works but not for the range advertised.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The antennae does receive all local channels but only as far as Baltimore. The range listed should more than cover Washington DC stations too but we cannot receive any of them. Works but not as well as I hoped it would.

What They Didn't Tell Me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought home this indoor antenna, which I bought to be able to get local channels on my TV. I set it up as directed. The young man who sold it to me told me to place it near a window, which I did. It didn't work. It scanned and scanned and found no channels. Unfortunately, my TV faces the windows, which are across the room. So I had my wife hold the antenna nearer to the windows. Same result. I'm surmising that the problem is that my windows face North. Most signals come from the South. Nobody told me about that. So when my wife gets home from work, we will try again. Frustration, thy name is antenna.

Good antenna but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It got all the stations I really cared about except Channel 21 WLIW out of Garden City, NY which is unfortunately the most important station to me.

Terk a bit too directional, choose Channel 5 or 2
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device was easy to set up and the terk phone app helped locate where stations were located. The only problem is the SF bay area geography. If I aligned the antenna with the Oakland stations I lost CBS. If I aligned the antenna with SF stations I lost Fox. In either case I could not get Channel 9 (PBS). I may look into an external antenna, but in any case I'm [regretfully] returning the antenna

Works pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was easy to hook up. I have to adjust it every now and then, depending on weather. It's a lot better than the other one I had, I recommend it.

Works great when can get a signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to install. I am trying to use in a very rural area and frequently have to reprogram channels. I do think this is a problem with the broadcast locations being too far away. When the channels do come in, it works great. This is a part time home that isn't used very often so cannot justify cable. I think this antenna would be awesome closer to a metro location.

Decent, but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This amplified antenna was recommended- was better than cheap rabbit ears, but just ok. Maybe how my house faces. Bought in case Directv went out during Irma. Picture didn't seem to be HD but that was ok.

Bad location?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Want to cut cable and tried this antenna for over the air. I tried several locations in house and even put in two different windows facing north, but could only get channels 2 and 5 and the sub channels for them. I have a stucco house which does not help on the signal. Also there are some trees that maybe blocking signal. For me this did not work.

The Perfect Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live close to the Philadelphia area, so even cheap antennas work well to some extent. However, this one blows them all away! I now get ten to fifteen more channels than I ever did before, and most of them come in & stay in clear and unpixelated. My only complaint is that even though the Terk is multi-directional, I still cannot receive the ABC local affiliate (despite the fact that it is close by and is one of the most powerful stations in the Delaware Valley). But this same problem existed with my previous, more expensive, outdoor antenna. Oh well. I do recommend Terk (no matter what) because it still out-performs any antenna I've had in the past, and the digital amplifier is receiving TV stations that are far from my home. I'm very satisfied & happy.

Very good amplified ‘over the air’ tv antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my in-laws that are in an assisted living bldg. Their living room window faces the main tv broadcast antennas in the area. Hook up was very easy...open box, attach amplifier to only cable coming from the antenna, connect to the cable connector on the tv, plug in the amplifier and you’re done. You’ll have to do a scan for channels but that’s it. Great reception and easy install. Well worth the money

TV Antenna/No more cable or dish
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Experiencing the disappointment of higher and higher prices for cable or dish TV in which the subscriber has to pay for more and more channels, most of which he or she will never watch; I tried this antenna and like it. I get over 20 channels, the main ones I like to watch NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS plus others. The antenna sits indoors near my TV. Sometimes its placement or angle needs adjusting, but most of the time it works fine without any adjustment. Be sure to let your seller know your TV location, so that he or she can recommend an indoor or outdoor setup. The prop stand for it is not very good,

Overall satisfactory product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a powered antenna to get air signals for television reception. Since it is powered, it can capture the signals of weaker transmitters. At times, we still experience pixelizatiin, but not to a significant degree. In addition, it is a smart-looking product that does not detract fro the room decor. So a good overall product. Four stars.

may not pick up local transmissions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am sure this is a good product, but for some reason it does not detect the 2 local channels that are transmitted in my area, and which are well within its stated range of 60 miles.

it looks good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought we would receive more channels than we get from the product but it may be from where we are located and I would recommend it for some that doesn’t live between 2 mountains

Trek antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the years we have tried multiple antennas and have been disappointed by them all. However, when we bought this antenna we were pleasantly surprised. It was easy to install and adjust. And we receive more channels than we expected. We are really enjoying watching TV using our trek antenna. I almost talked my husband out of it wanting to give up on antennas...I'm glad I let him try one more.
