Just got my TERK HDTV Antenna, easy to use and super simple and light. What I love about it is that it extended my WIFI to the end of my backyard which my range used to stop right outside my backdoor and a clear picture with the HDTV. The extender is going to be great for the summer time in the backyard. I am Super excited. The only down falls that I see is that I only got 17 channels with the HDTV but they are super clear with great placement. Cords could be a little longer but they still worked for me. The other part that I had to search a few different Best Buys to find it. Thank goodness for bestbuy.com, it was able to tell me which one had the device near me.

With this antenna I was able to get 27 channels. The channels included my local ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX all in crystal clear HD. This antenna also has the unique feature that it doubles as a WiFi extender which helped solve our slow streaming speeds in the back part of our house. We used to only get 2 Mbps but now we get 23 Mbps. The best feature of this antenna might be its looks though as my wife didn't even bat eye when I set it up.

Not sure if it's the "wifi" extender feature or not...but I can't get nearly as many channels with this antenna as another TERK antenna I have. It's range is far less than it says as I can't get channels with a tower less than 15 miles from me. Best Buy's price was $89.99 but because it was labeled wrong they honored the marked price of $59.99 which is the only reason I didn't return it for a refund. I removed it from my main TV & just use it for a small extra TV in the bedroom. Would not recommend this antenna.

    so far works great ...

We've had a couple indoor flat panel RCA antennas that have worked really well (except for really windy days) and got this for the wi-fi extender. The antenna works as well as our old RCA indoor antennas ... have to reposition occasionally. The extended wi-fi is easy to set up online if you don't have an iPad or iPhone. The extended wi-fi can run 2.4 or 5 GHz. Some of our smartplugs only use 2.4 GHz so that was a nice feature. The unit is super lightweight and not too large (we had tried an ANTOP antenna that was humungous and returned it because it was leaking some weird substance) - we didn't buy that one from Best Buy. Easy to connect to Ultra HD TV. So far has been working great and are pleased with the purchase. Still wish we could find an indoor antenna that truly picks up signals up to 100 miles so we could get CBS but haven't found one anywhere.

Not a great for the price. It only gets all Channels available if outside. And this is not an out door one. The WiFi is spotty. Lose connection more then having it. But for a combo I work alight. There are better options out there.

    The Power of Suggestion

The product information on the packaging showed a map of network signal towers and suggested the antenna would be able to pick up signals within a 65 mile range from NYC. A had such high hopes for this product, that I imagined all the shows I would be able to watch on networks that my, at the time, current digital antenna was not able to receive. After conducting channel scans with the antenna placed in multiple locations throughout the room, I was only able to successfully receive a maximum of 13 channels with most being Spanish speaking or obscure public broadcasting channels. I was only able to receive a total of 3 local channels and never together in one scan location. Each scanned location forced me to choose between the stations and take into account which station most accommodated my viewing habits. Based on the map and the statements written on the packaging, I lean toward classifying the information as false advertisement. Regardless of whether or not the suggestive advertisement was intentional, I would not recommend purchasing this product. I believe when it comes to digital programming, the technology's restrictions on a customer's channel viewing options is based on the customer's location and not on the type of device he or she may have purchased.

I had hoped for more. I bought this antenna and another, less expensive one as well. The less expensive one pulled in more stations than this one did. I know this antenna has another nice feature but my only interest was to pull in a distant station.

Indoor antennas have always been a challenge for me, but this one managed to pull in over 90 channels (I live in Los Angeles and we have a ton of foreign language channels). I am surrounded by buildings, so I did have to move the antenna around to find the best location. The small size and moveable antennas allow for a lot of flexibility in placement, even on a window sill. Setup is simple enough. There is one cord coming from the unit, which has the power connection and a split for the coaxial cable to the TV. Connect to the Terk's network name and password (they are on a sticker on the bottom of the unit), then use the Terk app to connect to your home network and off you go. You can also change the Terk network name/password with the app.If you have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks it will find the other after you set up the first.

But this unit could not pull in any stations other than the local PBS and a gazillion Mexican channels. Neither of which are my cup of tea. I suspect living in a valley has a lot to do with this. I cannot recommend this to anyone that lives in an area similar to mine, but if you reside in a really flat landscape kind of town/city/suburb, then by all means give it a try.

Antenna extender works awesome! Just download their app to configure it! The tv antenna is not any better than the rabbit ears we had that this replaced. Had hoped some of the harder channels to get would come in better but they didn't.

If you're more than 30 or 40 miles from a STRONG signal, this just won't cut it. While we're about 45 miles down the valley from broadcast towers, this antenna just couldn't bring in any signals. As far as a WiFi Extender, it was just average. It wasn't as easy as it should have been to get this setup with another WiFi network.
