I live inside city limits and the Terk was supposed to be omnidirectional. I do see a difference when facing the device, versus laying flat. I went away from an RCA with rabbit ears that were unsightly and this one is almost comparable. Wife is happy though. I think with a little tweaking, the Terk would do just fine for anyone trying to cut their cable bill.

The HD Antenna from Terk works great. I get plenty of local channels.

I love the slim flat design because it hides behind my TV easily, The reception is great. I was tired of paying for cable I wasn't using, but appreciate access to local channels with the great reception this antenna provides. I had it set up and connected with channels coming in within minutes.

This is a beautiful antennae that works! In my area checkinf with antennae.org, I should get 17 channels, I got 16 clear channels! So maybe not perfect but its actually not close to a window so that may play a part in the final channel. It can be mounted, laid flat or placed sitting up.

The Best Buy salesman suggested this over more expensive products. He gave me some additional tips on how to train it to be more receptive 360 degrees. It was still temperamental when installing. It also needs to be ever so slightly moved at times which is a pain since reception should be coming in from all sides. But the picture is very clear.

I bought this for a friend that doesn't have cable. She had an antenna but only picked up 3 stations. After hooking this up she now had 11. A very noticeable difference for not a lot of money.

My comcast goes out sometimes and since it takes them over a week to make a service call I bought this. It picks up all the major channels. I do have to position it in just the right place. I have not had any other antennas so I can't say it is better but I appreciate having it.

Optional base is a nice feature. Better than other antennas I've tried. Has a good range and picture quality doesn't mess up when I move like it did with RCA antenna While the optional base is a good feature, I hung it on my wall. Wish it would have had same thickness throughout and the power cord could be longer for wall mounted tvs

I got this antenna when we disconnected our cable service so that we could still get over the air programming. It picks up all of the major channels plus several extras. In all we ended up with about 30 channels which all come in very clear despite being surrounded by trees.

This Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna works beautifully in my home. The picture is just perfect. I put it up on the window sill above the tv and sometimes have to turn it slightly and/or reverse position to get some channels. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

I've been using this for over a month and no major complaints. My apartment is located just behind some hills, and my TV sits in a corner farther away from the window due to the apartment's layout. That being said, every now and then one or two channels don't get signal, and some others might get some digital hiccups. The cable that comes with it is long enough, so if I position it a little closer to the window it gets better reception and all channels work perfectly. This works really fine to me, so I guess it depends on how strong the TV signal is in your neighborhood, and how far away from the windows your TV stays.

The indoor antenna receives all the local over-the air channels. Make sure you pick one for the correct mileage range as it does make a difference. My only complaint is that I sometimes lose the signal when someone walks in particular spots close to the antenna.

Antenna provides good reception. very easy to connect.

We were looking to cut down on our cable bill so we went with this antenna for local channels and stream with Roku. The antenna works well, set up was easy. In our area we get 16 channels. The cost for the unit was less than what we pay in a month with cable.

My daughter wanted a TV without cable as she streams mostly. In her new apartment, I wanted her to have access to local TV for weather, news, etc. This antenna works well but does have to be located properly for total access due to her orientation to the local stations. Ch 11 comes in great, as does 'CCO, and KSTP, but Ch 9 is spotty as her apartment faces away from the signal source. I had hoped the powered antenna would boost it enough so that source point location wasn't an issue. However, overall we were pleased to get HD TV without the cost of cable.
