Customers are pleased with the Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many also found it easy to install and appreciate its compact design. However, some customers noted that signal strength and range could be improved, and a few felt the price was high. The optimal placement of the antenna for best reception also required some experimentation.

For most part it works. It picks up many of the channels within 25 miles from where I live, however, every now and then channels disappear.

Decent antenna and works well. As all antenas.....it is all about the location of where you live. I got this antenna because it was on sale.

I had a TERK antenna attached to one TV which I absolutely love the reception, so when I got my second TV I decided to buy the next model. As with most antennas nothing is perfect, I get occasional scrambles or interference when big trucks or buses pass but nothing major, besides that I get channels I never knew existed as well as a perfect picture.

Looking for some minimal tv reception for guest room tv, rather than paying for an extra cable receiver. Works for our purposes.

It does take some fiddling to get the reception correct, and often needs to be refiddled with after a bit. The major channels come in strong. The remaining channels sometimes work great, sometimes are total static.

I am in south Nashville but still in the Nashville area so you would think I could get all channels. Guess again. It's not the antenna's fault I later learned, it's Nashville. I bought two of these for 2-tv's. I took one back and got a competitor's brand that is consider higher strength (because I couldn't get all channels) and placed the other TERK on my 2nd TV. The TERK has clearer reception and doesn't pixilate like the RCA antenna on the other TV. Lesson learned.

don't look any further....Rugged, versatile, digital antenna that puts out a great OTA signal so you can see your local channels.

Where I'm at , I can get maybe 25-30 channels but can throw most of them out . I have two of these that are five years apart but are similar in that if a car goes by or big truck is coming , I lose reception . I am going to try to set up a splitter to this and see if I can watch thru an external tuner as well as the tv at the same time . I'll be able to get a better PIP that way if it works . I'll update when I do it . The range is maybe 25 miles ? I have done a whole lot of maneuvering to this thing to get it to work sometimes , from hanging it has high as the line will let me to laying it on the floor .

Overall an ok product for the money, but this thing is not at all omnidirectional. For the money I say skip it. As far as the range? 40 miles if the skies are clear on the fifth Tuesday of every forth month, maybe.

Buy an amplified antenna, like this one.

I bought an expensive antenna and a low-cost antenna at Best Buy - neither version was amplified and both performed almost the same, but poorly. I took them both back and bought this amplified Terk model and it works very nicely and was about the same or slightly better priced than previous expensive version that I ended up returning.

This antenna works fine for our location. Because we are close to broadcast towers, it seems to work equally well with and without the amp feature. Not sure that I am getting the extra value of having the amp.

Easy to set up. It needs to be near a window for best response. It can pick up all the local listed digital channels, but that occurs at different times of the day. Don't know if it's a signal strength issue from the station transmitters or what. Nothing changes with it's location within the house or outside the house when some stations are not received or highly pizelated.

I was looking for an antenna for our daughter's apartment as she couldn't afford cable/satellite. While shopping I asked alot of questions and also asked what product the people I was asking were using. Turns out this was the recommended product. While it is a little pricey, it does have a great picture and pulls in all the stations very well.

I have been fighting the battle of a good TV in home antenna for years. I've purchased more expensive ones only to end up returning because it did anything different from the cheaper model I was using. I had one that I was using for about 2 years and it began giving me problems.
I decided to look at different models and started reading reviews and I finally came to this one. It was a little pricier than I wanted to spend considering past experiences with ones high priced and didn't work any different than the cheaper ones. I can happily say this one was worth every penny I spent. I set it up did a scan and didn't get as many channels as I expected so I played around with the position and finally I found the correct one for my location and ran a scan and found well over 30 channels. I'm glad I decided to try this one and have no regrets after trying to find a good one for over 5 yrs.

Reception is obviously limited to broadcast channels, but the reception on these is perfect HDTV! There is plenty of variety and enough excellent programs on these channels to satisfy my TV interests. Since the conversion to digital broadcasting, most broadcasters offer multiple channels of programming: in my area (4) PBS; (4) ABC; (3) NBC (including one Spanish-language); (2) CBS; and (5) religious channels.
