Terminator 2 is a complex movie. It is nothing short of incredible, a true masterpiece to say the least. T2 combines action, emotion, special effects and a great story. And James Cameron said in one feature, he had a message in the movie, the message is that no matter how insignifficant you feel you're important. Arnold Schwarzenegger is incredible in this movie, he goes from the cold, distant, and violent (pretty much to expected from a killer robot) to a almost compassionate, fatherlike figure with understanding. There several versions of the film in this disc, around 3-4. A five minutes long theatrical edition, a extended Theatrical Edition (15 min. longer), a Special Edition (which got its own theatrical release after T2), and an uncut edition. On the bonus features disc, there is material from production, promotion, and deleted scenes (on the ultimate edition this is where the uncut edition was, it was like an easter egg). Terminator 2 is one of the few movies to ever have made shed even a tear. It is a great movie. You must see this one for sure.

This particular version features many new and different scenes. I won't spoil them, but Kyle Reese does come out in one of them, originally cut out of the sequel entirely. Look for other scenes that were restored. A previous comment indicated that this film does not quite mesh with the time travel concept and in some ways that is correct. There have been many revamps and comics and novels describing all the what ifs, but i find with time travel movies, very few actually build a logical timeline of events, this one did pretty good and i don't see how you can have terminator 1 or 2 without the other. You must have both, they are worth it. Oh, the dvd rom features are glitchy at best, though it does come with an HD digital copy, its only on ROM and not downloadable, and the software is not fully compatible with vista, and its a RAM hog on xp. Just buy the blu ray version if you want high definition. The steel case is a nice touch for this dvd as well.

This is a classic sci-fi film. A robot from the future comes back in time to kill Sarah Conner so that John Conner can never be born to destroy the Terminators in a future battle between mankind and the Terminators. The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a robot with skin over the top to appear human. It is a great film and a classic. The story is cool and the action is even better. You will love this film and I would buy T2 and Terminator 3 as well you will not be disappointed"

T2 is the most action fulled Terminator movie in my eyes. I like the movie with its cool effects and fighting scenes. Ecspially, the final fight between the T-1000, Sarah and John Connor and the terminator. But other than that it was just a great movie with a great storyline. So if you like the terminator trilogy. Get the 2nd one and watch it at least 2 times to really get the feel for it. Once you put it in you DVD player. I guarentee you won't take it out for a long time.

one very awesome movie arnold at his best this movie rocks and it kicks alot of major butt and i loved edward furlong in this movie this movie is full of actiobn and it has a very great storyline this movie rocks my socks off

This movie proves that sequels can be better. James Cameron delivers a visually engrossing film with special effects undiscovered at the time. This film was ages ahead of its time and set a new standard for sci-fi/action films to come in the years ahead. This film is a cinematic achievement and shouldn't be missed by sci-fi or action film lovers.

Terminator 2 is a high budget sequel to the low budget Terminator 1. The special effects, at the time, were ground breaking, and they've withstood the test of time. I'm not sure why I didn't already own this DVD, but I saw it at Best Buy recently, with very cool packaging, and a very low price. It was an easy decision to add this to my collection. PC users should note that you don't need to have a software DVD player to play this on your computer, since it includes a copy of the movie encoded for Windows Media Player.

The continuation of the story of John Connor and the resistance, this action packed thriller starts off with T101 (Arnold) rescuing John Connor from the T1000. Later, they decide to rescue John's mother, only to be confronted by the T1000. I recommend new viewers to see the first Terminator, but this is a great one too.

This movie is awesome. It is full of amazing stunts and incredible special effects. The story, camera work and the acting are perfect. This is definitely the best of the Terminator movies and might be one of the best action movies of all time.

Best of the Terminator movies. Arnold Schwaranegger as the Terminator. Edward Furlong as John Conner and Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner. The Terminator is sent back in time to protect John Conner from the evil T-1000 Terminator. It is a great movie and action packed from start to finish!

This film is arguably the breakthrough film for "special effects". The CGI in this film outdoes some films made over 10 years later. Top notch acting, top-notch action and that's a very rare combination. Arnold plays a better cyborg than he does a human.

I really enjoyed this film, and only slightly less than the first one. The visuals in this film are very amazing and this film will stand out for some time. This movie set the Terminator series on fire, and is just a great action film!!!

This film is awesome!!!!!! My number one favorite film. This is the film where the T- 1000 is sent to kill John Connor, and arnold schwarzenegger's character is sent to protect John. This film beats the first one in box office

Sure this is an old movie but it's one of the greatest movies ever made. It's a must for any collection. Almost everybody i know has seen this movie and would definately agree with me. This is a strongly recommended movie.

The extreme edition of T2 is great, even though it only contains a documentary on the CGI and a brief behind-the-scenes documentary. It's still one of the greatest action films of all time. Highly recommended.

This is most likely the best of the Terminator franchise. This improves upon the first, and doesn't run in to the same problems as the one's proceeding it. Very good action flick!

Somewhat straying from the storyline of the first film in a way that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, especially in terms of the time travel concept, 'Terminator 2' is still decent entertainment. Although laden with cutting edge special effects, the movie just doesn't live up to the quality of the original movie in my opinion. A generally good dvd release, this version is missing several features that graced the much better 'Terminator 2: Ultimate Edition' released back in 2000.

They did pretty well in this sequel. I enjoyed watching it.
