Was able to buy tbis cheaper than online and the order pick up was easy

I grew up adoring this film and the special effects (moreso over Jurassic Park's CGI breakthrough). Really got me interested in the visual effects of film. And this 4K release is amazing. Recommended!

When I saw the first "Terminator," I was hooked. I thought that it was one of the most fantastic combinations of sci-fi, action and drama I had ever seen. I was reluctant about the sequel at first; I'd already been exposed to insipid sequels to many films that couldn't hold a candle to the original. But then, I saw it, and I have loved it ever since. This sequel to James Cameron's Terminator but watching it in 4k totally totally a different experience I loved it..

Nice steelcase great art work super print of film everyone knows the film so I don’t have to review it but if you have not seen it non stop action and a must watch for the terminator collections

Love the Steelbook design even if the 4K transfer isn’t that good

This movie is an icon even after almost 30 years. It's the role Arnold was born to play. Little is lost in those 30 years as its special effects and action direction leave nothing behind. The image, even though it's in 4k, has some age related artifacts or perhaps it's the video transfer. Soundtrack still has impact.

A movie before it’s time!!! Great buy and was just for my terminator collection

Aesthetically perfect. Steel book looks magnificent and picture is perfection.

Seeing the original DVD version and the 4k, there’s a difference in most scenes. Seen on a 4k tv makes the difference in lighting and overall quality. This version is worth adding to the collection!

The best Terminator movie of the series, PERIOD!!!

I literally buy every edition of this movie that comes out. Still my favorite movie of all time. The new blu-rays that have been coming out for this include some CGI fixes that are not that intrusive, you don't notice them, they simply fix some small errors that the original had. Little things such as the windshields falling off the truck when the T-1000 drives it off the overpass but then you see the windshields still in place in the next shot. All they did was digitally make it seem like the windshields didn't fall out in that first shot so it doesn't break that illusion. And they put Arnold's face onto the stunt double that rode the bike into the canal since it was in slow motion and was really obvious in the original cut. So definitely tasteful edits done to the movie. The steelbook and sleeve themselves are really nicely done. With the sleeve's transparent parts and the endoskeleton underneath, looks really cool, I love it.

There's not much I can say about T2 other than it's arguably the greatest action film of all-time, and certainly on the short list of them. The steelbook is pretty rad, built around the classic image of flames and a T-800 in the center of them. There is NO inner-artwork on this steelbook, which will certainly disappoint some. However on this film, being the villain is the liquid metal T-1000, it doesn't feel as off as it would on another title. You can of course add your own artwork if you're into that sort of thing. The blu-ray itself? A bit of a mixed bag. Back in the early 2000's T2 was given a 2K telecine scan for the "Extreme Edition" DVD, and that scan has been used for all T2 releases since. So the scan and resolution quality are a bit dated compared to more recent, say, 4K ARRISCAN's, and you can just compare it to the recent The Terminator blu-ray remaster that came out to see the difference. This particular edition also adds on too much DNR (digital noise reduction done in post) to the image for my taste, and the menu is a bit over complicated. That being said the image is certainly serviceable (until Cameron releases the 4K remaster - which is done) and the lossless 5.1 audio is as crisp and crackling as ever. The bonus material is pretty vast, though as I said, can be a little difficult navigating. Overall? For a T2 fan or a fan of steelbooks, this is recommended until a better T2 remaster services.
