Good story, great action Terminator movie. The original cast is a nice plus, but there is only so much they can do to somehow reassemble them together again, so the story seems a little forced imo. TBH I prefer the last Terminator movie, Genisys, to this one (although I know I am in the minority). Anyway definitely worth a rental if nothing else.

The Terminator franchise seems to keep going. And like a number of successful franchises, each new chapter has a twist of turn you're not expecting. There is no difference in this movie. It is full of fresh story telling, juiced up action and threads the old into the new for a sense of flow rarely found in sequels. Enjoy!

I have never been into the terminator franchise but something about the trailer called out to me. What a great movie!! Action packed from beginning to the very end. You dont have to watch em all this one explains everything you missed. Check it out for sure, will not disappoint

Is this a good movie? Yes, especially if you’ve never seen a Terminator movie before. But that’s the problem; it’s been 30+ years since the first one came out, not to mention the sequels that came after it, so the likelihood of that being the case is small to none. And in that sense, while it’s a good and entertaining movie, like the recent Star Wars trilogy, it doesn’t offer anything new, or nothing we haven’t already seen before. There’s maybe one surprising thing in the very beginning of the movie, but after that, it’s just a compilation of greatest hits and thematic beats from all of the previous James Cameron Terminator movies. The problem with the Terminator movies that came after T2 as I see it, is that the first 2 movies used special effects to enhance the stories being told, while the ones that followed tried to tell the story with SPX. The first Terminator movie was a love story with sci-fi elements, and the second was a ground breaking sci-fi action movie about a mother doing whatever it took to protect her child from death. T2 was ground breaking for its infusion of a strong “leading lady” role during a time when such roles were few and far between (if they existed at all), along with SPX that had not only never been seen before but also revolutionized the way movies would be filmed/shot going forward, with an original story concept that continued to build upon the foundation of the Terminator world that had been established in the first one. None of the subsequently following movies did this, although I will make an allowance for Terminator Salvation, because as bad as that movie became after Sam Worthington’s character is revealed to be a Terminator, it at least took a chance to advance the story by taking us directly into the horrific future the first 2 films merely hinted at. And while I’m on the subject, this is where I think all/any new Terminator movie should be focused on exploring going forward, because if nothing else, Terminator Dark Fate only reinforces the realization that there’s really nothing new to mine from stories within this franchise that take place in the present timeframe. Dark Fate seems to simply take the special effects from T2 and apply them to the plot of the original, but with different actors, which again, doesn’t move the needle regarding the Terminator world itself, and thus we end up with a movie that is really just a good action movie but not groundbreaking in any way, nor significant in any way other than the stunt casting of the original stars themselves. I enjoyed it and recommend it, but I only enjoyed it because I hadn’t seen it yet, and I was able to watch it in the comfort of my own home with my surround sound turned up, and I only recommend it because I like action movies and this one was decent enough to spend the time watching it. I gave it 4 stars because it was better than I expected, but I wasn’t impressed by the movie itself considering it was touted as James Cameron coming back to the helm along with Linda Hamilton and Arnold.

I liked the movie lost of action and had an interesting plot. That when you changed the future it created an alter universe. I Think this is going to open up other plots and ideas in future movies. Which I think is great.

If you like the first two Terminator movies, you will also like this one. There is a slight twist in the plot that keeps it interesting. The scenes are authentic and the action is riveting.

It is a direct sequel to T-2 and I loved it! It had been a long time since I've had an adrenaline rush watching a movie and I definitely did with this one. Linda Hamilton is awesome. Great action scenes and special effects.

Another Terminator film??? This film was created to let us forget the other "bad" films post T2. The movie was action packed and had a decent story. Is it good enough to keep the franchise going?

This was a pretty good ending to the franchise. Good to see old actors reprise their roles. Good quality video and audio. Great price!

"Terminator: Dark Fate" adds a new layer of depth to The Terminator franchise! Both the storyline and the accompanying effects are awesome, and the movie as a whole is likely to appeal to all fans of the franchise! Kudos!!

It is slightly like the other story lines from the previous ones, except having to change the main characters with a few exceptions. Still action packed. Not a disappointment.

I heard lots of hate for this movie, but I've been a Terminator fan since the original first hit VHS . The first 2 will always be my favorites, but I genuinely enjoyed this installment. Opening with Sarah describing her vision of Judgement day from T2, then seeing what happened shortly after she prevented Judgement day, I got chills ! The action is abundant, and it has Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor and Arnold back as model 101. I do not regret buying this!

This is a good film even though I had issues with some of the choices made throughout the film with that said I still enjoyed the story and action.

This movie is a retread of T2, but it is a good movie on its own. Massive amount of action and amazing special effects. I would definitely recommend this movie.

I thought it was great they did change a lot from the previous storyline but it worked it was fun seeing everyone back together again it had action and I enjoy the storyline

Big fan of Terminator and really enjoyed this one. It had humor and action both and just a fun movie. I suggest picking it up if you are a terminator fan,

This newest tale of the Terminator took it up another notch with the addition of several characters and incredible special effects....loved the plot.

This is a fine installment of the Terminator franchise. Best of all it's been updated to what society looks like now, as well as bringing back the original Sarah Connor! This film has a slightly different twist. Sarah and her crew did stop the apocalypse that was to come, but fate managed bring about an apocalypse at a later date and cause. A terminator comes back through time and does kill John Conner. But instead of Kyle comes a new female character whose a modified human! Killer! This film is very bit as good as the others. Give it a watch!

This is the last of the Terminator movies and like all the rest it is great. LOTS of action and great actors.

Great blu ray, with some good special features and even better storyline. Not often you get a sequel that is any good bit definitely a good one
