I'm not sure why there are some many critical reviews. I thought it was really well done, and I enjoyed that it was filmed in multiple locations. Some of the scenes where very much on the edge of the impossible, but hey, it's an action movie and it is supposed to be improvable. I also enjoyed the subtle or perhaps not so subtle messages around gender equality and expectations. Great message for little girls who are often boxed into a role at a young age. I liked it and would definitely recommend it.

I know the reviews are all over the place on this movie, just sit down, don't think too much and just take it for what it is. A fun ride, especially for us who watched the original Terminators when they first came out. T2 will always be the best, probably one of the best sci-fi movies of all time (Aliens as well) but this particular movie was good, better than the last 3, but not as good as the first 2. So right slap bang in the middle. I enjoyed it :)

This is a pretty cool steelbook for what is easily the best sequel after 1 and 2 (though 3's ending makes it a better movie). It still doesn't make a lot of sense if you think about it too hard, but Linda Hamilton and Arnold give great performances, and the action sequences are great, without looking too fake. It's a great transfer--sharp and crisp, with terrific sound as well. If you collect steelbooks and sci-fi movies you'll like this.

This is the next chapter in the Terminator Saga. It is the most brutal movie in the Saga. James Cameron is back at the helm and it was great to see Linda Hamilton reprise her role as Sara Connor as well as the return of the Arnold. The chic that played Grace did awesome acting-she was fierce and brutal. Terminator Genisys had one of the worst casting decisions with Emily Clarke and Jai Courtney. Terminator Dark Fate has plenty of action and is a non-stop pulse pounding thrill ride!

A Fitting End to Cameron's Trilogy

After two back to back viewings, the movie Terminator: Dark Fate is a fitting end (belatedly) to Cameron's Terminator Trilogy. The Trilogy is the original Terminator, and then the (at the time) ground-breaking special effects laden Terminator 2: Judgement Day, ending with this final entry, skipping over every supposed sequel and reboot. Fans of the genre will love it. The casual viewer will enjoy it, maybe to a lesser degree, but will be satisfied with all the amazing action sequences and Arnold's deadpan role.

T2 is still the best. Then the original. I liked Genisys as well and thought it revived the series. But then this came along. Super action packed. That being said... the Terminator series needs to end. 4K presentation was ok for this disc. But in hindsight, the blu-ray version would've been ok. A lot of dark scenes and fast action. So giving it the 4k consideration probably didn't do much justice for the cost. Just saying. Great movie though.

Best Follow Up To T2, Forget The Rest

This is the sequel to the first two Terminator films that matters. Linda Hamilton is wonderful as expected, and the way Arnold Schwarzenegger is used was a very pleasant surprise. The new cast members do a great job as well, and I really hope they can continue the franchise, even though the film wasn't successful at the B.O. Even if they don't continue, this film closes the loop of the original film nicely, and is well worth your time.

Really looked forward to seeing this movie & we were not disappointed Was good seeing Linda & Arnold back in their recurring roles and still capable of keeping you on the edge of your seat with almost non stop action And, yes, while some of the plot is more of the same, the action makes you not really care We loved it ! time to watch it again as you always overlook something the first time around !

I saw this movie in theaters and thought it was good. Due to MovieGuy365's favorable review on youtube, I bought and watched the 4k UHD disk at home with a Dolby Atmos-enabled audio system (Sonos Arc, Sub and Surrounds) and it was excellent! AWESOME SOUND!!! Dolby Atmos is so superb. I love the Terminator storyline. Not only are the three female leads awesome, the T 800 / Carl's perspective is interesting. Rev-9 was a menacing villain. That music.

Where can I begin the effects, acting, story line are on point. I was kinda upset for the reboot with actually liking the terminator 3: rise of the machines. But I won’t add any spoilers but my mind was blown away in the first 15-20 minutes of watching. I’m hoping they will make a fourth film to follow suit with this one. Oh the steelbook case makes it even more enjoyable to add to my collection.

A new model 9 Liquid Terminator is sent back to present day Mexico city to kill a factory worker name Dani, who is instrumental to the resistance effort of the future. At the same time a human Cyborg named Grace also arrives and teams up with Dani to protect her from the Model 9. The two are soon joined by Sarah Connor and a familiar ally the T-800. They all join together in a fight to save Dani and the future of Mankind.

Best Sequel Since T2! I Know The Other Sequels Weren’t Well Received Living In The Shadow That Is James Cameron!! Dark Fate However Gives The Action & Drama That Delivered In The First Two! Linda & Arnold Do Not Disappoint & The New Cast Members Certainly Deliver! This Movies Doesn't Reinvent The Wheel, But It Certainly Does Take You For A Ride. Give It A Chance No Matter How Much You May Have Been Put Off By The Sequels!

Terminator: Dark Fate was not a bad movie, but it was not great either. I like some of the action and particularly the return of Sarah Conners. Some parts of the movie were about boring to me, so I found myself reading until something caught my interest. If you like the Terminator franchise, then I would recommend purchasing this movie to complete your library. Otherwise, I would pass.

Pretty good. Big T2 fan here, so most of the movies after that I have enjoyed but were generally just meh...This one though, I feel I enjoyed much more than the others. They play with the timeline and this is a sequel to the previous film, Genisis or whatever its called.

Saw this in the Theater and could not wait to get in on 4K blu-ray. Picture is great, fine detail is rendered really well, colors pop, black levels are inky. The sound was bombastic! Dolby Atmos, surrounds were active, the base coming from my JL Audio F113 was awesome, the factory scene was a sonic treat, in regards to picture and sudio quality 5/5!

Even though these stars are aging(as we all are), it's great to see these original characters evolve and share the screen once again after the loads of turmoil they have survived. Not as imaginative as the first couple of installments, not as dark as some of the latter, but Linda Hamilton can still kick but and the acceptance, dry humor and suppressed emotion these characters show is worth the watch.

Apart from a lot of dodgy CGI (the opening flashback excluded, which features some of the best de-aging effects this side of a Marvel movie) and the "been there, done that" vibe of the whole thing, Dark Fate is a much better movie than its poor box office showing, and I've no doubt more people will eventually awaken to its merits. If this really is the end of the saga, it could have gone a lot worse.

I personally like how Dark Fate is moving away from the John Connor saga. This is now new territory for the Terminator franchise and I welcome it. Many people are still holding onto the old Terminator movies and want this one to so badly be in line with them but it is not. There is a new judgement day and a new direction the franchise is moving in and I thought the acting was good and the action scenes were well done. It really felt like a non stop roller coaster.

I ain’t going to lie people.... I gave in into the hate for this movie because of the Intro. That made me very mad since it does something dealing with terminator 2. Terminator 2 in my eyes is the greatest movie ever made! And they just said heck let’s twist this. And first I wanst done but then again change doesn’t hurt, In this case it was great! And pulled off nicely! I don’t recommend this movie to EVERYONE but just to people that like some change you know

Terminator Dark Fate is probably the best sequel in the series after T2.It doesn't break new ground but is a fun action film.It was nice to see Linda Hamilton back with Arnold and I enjoyed the new characters. The steelbook is very nice. The reason I got it is because it was a cool double sided image and it reminded me of the Best Buy steelbook for Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1.
