The movie was good. It was lacking in true creativity though and was mainly cashing in on nostalgia. Although a part of me kept feeling why not just watch T2 again. But hopefully as its name implies it is just the beginning and was playing it safe to hook a new generation.

A good story line, plenty of action, and interesting plot twists make this a great addition to the Terminator series. Filling in a lot of gaps from the earlier films and giving the viewer a lot to add with his imagination are two of the strong points of the movie.

Was skeptical to watch an alternate timeline in the Terminator series but was not disappointed. The action and occasional humor in this movie puts it up there as one of the best. Well told story seamlessly explains everything while still holding true to the original beginning. Hope there is a sequel coming soon.

This is the 4th film in the terminator series..it had a funky plot..this time Kyle Reese goes back in time to 1984 to save Sarah Connor..Only to relized the events have changed.. A terminator had already arrived to protect a young Sarah who calls the terminator pops

I've seen some subpar reviews on this, but I enjoyed it. The critics seem to complain about it being hard to follow. I didn't have any trouble understanding what was going on at all. Looks great in 3D. Plenty of action. Solid addition to the Terminator franchise.

Great movie to revisit the Terminator franchise. I saw Terminator and T2-Judgment back in the day. If you are a fan of the earlier movies in the series you will enjoy this one too (5th in the series).

Being a Terminator fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. However, it's almost as if they tried to fit too much into this installment as there were many questions left unanswered. Perhaps it will be addressed in sequels. Was also nice to see Arnold back in the movie.

A great sequel in a legendary series with plot, twists, and fun references that will never grow old. Arnold is back and as much fun as ever. You do have to pay attention to the underlying plot as the action sequences go on, but that will only lead you to watching it again. It may require a re-viewing of the whole series. Hope you own them.

I saw this in the theater and couldn't wait to own it. This is the best effort since T2. The 3D quality is great and the digital special effects are so good they are seemless. The mix of having 3D blu-ray, 2D blu-ray, DVD and digital download makes it a good deal. If anyone asks to borrow my movie, I lend the dvd and keep my blu-rays safe.

After a couple of duds in the series (3rd and 4th), it was nice to see one that was much better. My son loves all of the Terminator movies, but he even didn’t like 3 and 4 but loves this one.

The recurring Terminator tale of trying to save John Connor to lead a future resistance takes a fresh and unexpected turn. The actors playing John Connor and Sarah Connor are ok. It is great to see Arnold in his old-but-renewed role. The effects are excellent.

The best thing I like about this movie is the very clever way they tweaked SO many of our favorite scenes and tweaked them for a newly entertaining movie. Good cast, especially A Game of Thrones' Amelia Clarke. Always nice to watch her work, but she was a surprisingly good Sarah Conner as well. And we all know the SFX are top notch.

ARNOLD IS BACK AND BOY ARE WE EVER SO HAPPY.GENISYS IS NEITHER A PREQUEL OR A SEQUEL BUT STANDS ON ITS OWN MERITS AS A COMPANION TO AND A OVERTHROW OF THE WHOLE TERMINATOR FRANCHISE. DONT WATCH IF YOU ARE THE EASILY DIDTRACTED TYPE OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR WAY.

Yes, the time travel stuff can get confusing, and sure you can blow holes in the movie if you want to, but it's all about entertaining action sequences and seeing Arnold re-enact his role as a Terminator. One more time we get to hear him deliver some of those classic cheesy lines. If you're a fan of the franchise, you'll like it.

Movie is very entertaining but predictable. I thought it was fun though. Arnold looks great and the movie found a spot in my heart. However that being said, you have to be a fan, or someone who knows nothing and has not seen the other films. Just my opinion.

The whole family enjoyed this movie. We don't watch this type of movie to critique the storyline, but it was entertaining and flowed well. I especially appreciated the humor interjected throughout the movie. Arnie was funny and not disappointing!

The movie and graphics were great. But the sound was awesome! If you haven't invested in at least a 7.1 surround sound system, you are missing the big picture effects of the movie. I had the whole house shaking! Great action from start to finish! My neighbors are going to hate me even more after my upgrade to full on Atmos! ;-)

first the video quality of this blu ray is very good. that being said the movie itself is average.the series seems to have run its course. if you have all the other terminator movies then buy this, at a cheap price hopefully, to add to your collection.

Arnold is back! The picture and sound are great! The story has plenty of plotholes, and some of the acting not perfect, but so what?! If you're looking for a way to enjoy your summer and let your mind go for a couple hours this is a great way to do it!

I know that the movie did not do that great in theaters, but that is such a shame. I really liked this movie. I would probably rank it as the number 3 movie of the franchise behind the first 2 movies but ahead of Terminator 3 and Terminator Salvation.
