This film had me puzzled at first but once I figured out what was happening, it never stopped amazing me. The plot concept is brilliant and is made possible by state-of-the-art special effects. When I saw the trailers showing Arnold looking as he did 40 years ago in the first 'Terminator' film, I was more than a little curious as to how they did it and how it would be used in the new film. But I won't give it away. You need this Blu-ray (or DVD) to find out. If you're a fan of the Terminator franchise, you must have this film in your library.

I went to see this at the theater and wasn’t impressed. I own the other Terminator movies so when I saw it on sale for 5.99 I bought it. I watched it again and really enjoyed it. Emilia Clarke did a really good job as Sarah Connor. It rates right there with “Salvation” Definitely worth having.

This movie was actually pretty good, even though I had doubts after seeing the trailers. Arnold still is and always will be the best Terminator. The storyline for this installment of the franchise was really engaging and tied together real nice with the other Terminator movies. Although the concept is a little complex at times, it didn't come off as convoluted. I'd definitely pick this up if you're a fan of the franchise.

This movie is a decent attempt at rebuilding the franchise, but leaves several plot holes in the story. They try desperately to reach audiences of all ages, and it does alright, but the characters get a little lost and the main story takes a dive from it's original platform. They can only use Arnold so much longer....worth a watch if you like the franchise, but to own it -wait until it's cheaper.

I have always been a fan of the Terminator series. This one was very good as many aspects were of the previous movies were included. While creating a whole new story arc. The man "cons" was the lack of anything new that was not spoiled just from watching the trailers. Also, Terminator movies should be rated R. This movie having a PG13 suffers from the watered down feeling.

I personally loved the movie. I watched it with a friend and we both thought it was great! Keep in mind that this movie was made with a trilogy in mind (which we won't see unfortunately), so some things aren't fully answered. But nothing that is like "wait, what about?!?!" Lol If you are not someone who is going to be nitpick, because it can't best the original, then don't bother. If you embrace new takes and twist on classics, then you will like this ;)

I know there are those who hate on this movie. Why? it's a good plot (there will ALWAYS be loopholes with time-travel; deal with it-it's not real!) that does some interesting things with the characters. I think it was cast very well and the Atmos sound (especially the explosions) rocked my system. If I had another sub the neighbors would have complained.

I picked this movie up because i own all the Terminator movies i grew up on them i was a little iffy on how good it was going to be especially since i'm not a huge fan of the last one with Christian Bale but after watching this movie i couldn't believe how amazing it was if you haven't seen it yet wait no longer it ties in all the previous movies perfectly it might confuse you a little bit at the beginning but as you watch towards the end the story unfolds itself.

It was a fine watch and nice to see Arnold back. Can't reach the first 3..... T1 T2 T3 were all miles better but this wasn't as bad as I thought. There was some cool action and a good cast which really made it worth the watch. Def better than Salvation which was awful and glad to see Terminator back to its roots so to speak....

So I had my doubts seeing as Arnold is getting pretty old. But they tied everything in very well. It was a well told story and I really liked how they made the franchise new. Terminator 3 by far was the worst of the series. I had lost all interest because of that movie.

this movie is underrated. I thought it did very well to make sure that it was more of an organic sequel to the first 2 terminator films than the last 2 terminator films did. The story was original and had a fun twist to what was honestly becoming a tired story. video transfer was great, features were a bit light.

Arnold-Check. John Conner-Check. Sarah Conner-check. New Bad guy and solid twists-double check. Does it have action-yes. Easy follow-most of the time. Some of it is really good--some not so good. But hey it's a Terminator film and much better than the last one with Christian Bale which was harder for me as a fan to follow.

I am a fan of the series and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this chapter. I wish they could have maintained some of teh actors from the previous films in the series. This was the least expensive place to get this edition at the time.

The Terminator saga is packed with lots of action, this movie is no exception and after watching it over and over and over I can't get tired of it. If you are in the search of an action film this is one that you must check out. I rate it 4 out of 5 because I like even more the previous films in this saga.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shows up big in this flick. Brings back fond memories of my childhood, watching the Terminator movies. I'm nearly 40 now. This film is very action packed, and the story line is much better then Terminator 3. My wife and I enjoy this movie very much, we will enjoy it for decades to come.

We never tire of the Terminator series. And with the unique twists of this storyline you can finally breathe a sigh of relief that maybe, just maybe, the humans have prevailed over the machines....or have they? Great acting, wonderful script, plenty of action and believable. How's that for fiction.

The transition from watching the first and second Terminator movies to watching the third movie was pretty much a let down. Watching the fourth movie gradually made my interest go up as the movie was better than the third. However, the latest movie, Terminator: Genisys, was just as good and exciting to watch as how good and exciting the first and second movies were.

although i think it is only better than terminator 3, i was surprised considering the direction terminator was going how much i liked this movie. a little to much time travel in the movie but i loved how they recreated terminator one scenes and how the movie ties into the other ones

Sure, the time paradoxes that this movie sets up will make your head explode if you think about them too much, but this movie is fun. Emilia Clarke is a great Sarah Connor. And they found a legit way to bring Arnold back as an aging terminator. I'd say don't bother with Salvation or T3. Just get the first one, T2, and this one, and that's all ya need.

The product is great quality, I like how you can either play a Bluray or a DVD when buying this (In law only had a DVD) . As far as the movie goes, it was the usual logic behind these movies...with a few huge twists thrown in. Well worth it to me , buy it if you like terminator movies.
