The stories in these two seasons follow after T2 and are built on those events. Fans of the Terminator film series know that each new film tends to deviate somewhat from prior films, but usually in a more-or-less believable fashion. T3 mentions Sarah Connor's death from cancer, and this is referenced here when the characters time jump from 1997 to 2007 in the first episode. The new time jump changes her having died earlier than the new timeline. Other references also tie in with various aspects of the films, even while possibly changing them. In the TV series, Summer Glau is the Arnold replacement -- reprogrammed terminator sent back to protect John Connor. I first saw her in Firefly and then later in a few other TV series. All the roles I saw her play had a common thread -- she played a quiet but creepy character. Her terminator here matches as well. If you're a Summer Glau fan, you'll enjoy this role. When I play BDs/DVDs for TV shows, I usually prefer to use a Play All option to string the episodes together for binge watching. These BDs do this automatically, and don't even have a menu to select individual episodes. When the disc starts up, it automatically plays all episodes (after the requisite FBI and other early screens). If you want to play a single episode, you'll need to chapter skip forward to the one you want and then stop (or go to menu) when it's done. Even though the disc doesn't start at a menu, it does have one. When the episodes finish, you get to the Top Menu. You can also select it from the appropriate remote button. Bonus Features include things like deleted scenes (called Terminated Scenes) and Making Of features. Audition recordings for three main characters are in the first season's discs as well as dance practice for Summer Glau (who is mentioned as an accomplished ballerina). The first season had only 9 episodes but the second had 22. If you buy these as a set, the (sale) price is pretty reasonable.

I didn't get a chance to see this when it was released, yet I was a die hard Terminator fan. I was extremely impressed and didn't desire to have Arnold in this one not one time. The actors was very good and I love the plot twist that exist. It's a shame it didn't have the 3rd season as it does leave you hanging after Season 2. Nevertheless I love the use of the Bible and it does use technology well, me being a Information System Management Major.

I really enjoyed this show when it aired and I look forward to seeing it again. Acting was good all around, main cast is great, good writing, nice action, suspence and drama. Really wish they had done a third season, but show got cancelled after season 2. If you're a fan of the Terminator mythology I would definitely recommend this show to anyone that hasn't seen this yet.

One of the best Sci-Fi series of all time. Too bad the idiots that canceled it didn't let it finish with a third season. I wasn't interested in a Terminator series at first. I thought that the movies had done it all but I was wrong. I watched the series after it went off the air & was knocked out. It was great! Couldn't resist owning it on Blu-ray.

If you love sci-fi, time travel and T2, give this series a shot! Be warned, it was canceled at the end of Season 2 and ends on a real cliffhanger. Those who need closure need not apply. I haven't found this series streaming anywhere, so this may be the only way to watch it.

This is the complete series all on one pack. I saw one or two episodes, but being able to watch the whole series is awesome!

I love Terminator, and I procrastinated on picking this up...got a great deal on a Season 1&2 bundle, and loving it!

Great Series for the price, a must have for all terminator fans, no HD digital copy, but great for collectors.

I remember when this show was on television unfortunately the network cancellled this series, what a shame.

Fairly decent series. A lot of kick tail action, though John could be a little stupid at times.

The show had a good premise but it got to ambitious and sacrifice the good story for shock value
