Very wasteful of water, spits and spews stream and coffee. Couldn’t tune it in to a decent brew. Very messy.

I have had lots of trouble with my machine. You can’t use dark roast beans, it is inconsistent, it makes weird new noises and after a month of troubleshooting they are making me send it in to wait while they try to fix it. I expect a lot more at this price point.

Immediately replaced this machine with another brand. The marketing team did a wonderful job however the product did not live up to it's name. I receive faulty messages each time I run the machine. I have wasted multiple bags of coffee because it won't read an error message until AFTER it grinds and then once you open and close a door it will dump that pod of espresso and force you to make a new one while giving you another error message. The TK team is no help. They want videos of every issue but you don't know the errors will happen until after they do. So maddening and too much money for me to spend my day "fixing" false errors for a cup of coffee.

Pros: excellent tasting espresso, nice hot temperature, pretty design Cons: doesn't make coffee only espresso shots, kept giving me error messages that the used bean container was full when it wasnt and it wouldn't brew, the froth wasnt really froth but bubbly milk.

On year 4, still loving it! Makes a great cup every single morning, and has become my daily ritual. Customizations are 100% dialed in, couldn’t be happier. Takes some cleaning and care as does any super auto but so worth it. May upgrade to the TK-02 soon, my friends that got one are obsessed.

My TK01 worked for about 3 weeks before it started leaking water. I called TK customer service and had to go back and forth with them for over a week to get them to warranty the unit. I was originally told they take 14 days to repair the unit. After 2 weeks I was told my machine was just processed by the service department and would take an additional 14 days!!! It has now been 5 weeks and I still cannot get a commitment from them. DO NOT by from Terra Kaffe their customer service is terrible. I am going to the BBB after this reviews.

It is a gorgeous, useless nag. It beeps, it scolds, it warns, it blames. NONSTOP. This machine is utterly incapable of making one single coffee drink. Evidently, the minute it leaves the store parking lot the kill switch is deployed. The water container NEVER would seat properly and pump water through the machine. EVER. (I can honestly tell the return clerk the machine was not used.) No amount of carefully repositioning the water container, hitting the reset button, or whispering to it helped. (My husband and I fooled around with it for THREE hours before we lost our religion and pulled out the gin.) I refuse to tolerate this kind of drama and histrionics coming from an expensive machine purchased to deliver my first shot of caffeine in the morning! Shame on Terra Kaffe for not tweaking this KNOWN problem. Ask yourself: Do you have time BEFORE WORK in the morning to get on the phone with a soft spoken technical support therapist to walk you through futile steps to coax this stubborn alarm beeping monster into making your espresso? The visual appearance of this machine was so appealing to me that I ignored the honest reviews cautioning consumers that the water container does not seat properly. Result: Alarms begin beeping, machine becomes inoperable, screen becomes a mean Drill Seargent barking commands at you. All while you stare helplessly in your bathrobe wondering if you kept your Mom's old coffee pot. Terra Kaffe TK-01 is right up there with the smoke alarm you rip out of the wall at 3:00 a.m. because it won't stop beeping no matter how many new batteries you shove into it. We wasted HOURS trying to get this beautiful machine set up and now we are faced with repacking it all up and returning it. If the quality problems associated with functionality were addressed this machine would top my list. It is gorgeous and would fit in any kitchen if only it served it's purpose.

One of the worst purchases. We've been trying to get rid of this thing for the longest. Bean Hopper is not removable, design-wise leading to beans getting stuck under the ramp. Coffee is poor, requires more maintenance than you'd even imagine. Trust me.. AVOID.
