Very good game if u like Minecraft style with sandbox open world. It has rpg elements and a way better crafting system (w/o mods). I have it for every platform it's that good of a game. Can't express enough how great this game is. Especially for being pixal-ish 2d game.

I Love Terraria! Although It Still Need's More Mobs, Needs More Bosses, More Features, And More Items But Still 5 Star! Also I Suggest A Story Guideline, And Quests!

My son has Terraria for his Xbox 360. He wanted a new game console, but didn't think the Switch would be able to get the updates he wanted. He thought it would only be a mobile version on the Switch, but he was thrilled to find out that it isn't the mobile version and he was able to get the updates he wanted. He said it was much better than he thought it would be.

This is a great game for kids to play that is kid friendly!

If you want an inexpensive game that is large, this is what you want. Arguable, the PC version is better but if you want to bring this game with you, the Switch version is what you need. Forget the mobile/tablet version!

Terraria is an increadibly addictive game that really builds as you continue to play. There's soo much to discover and build, so many weapons and monsters, It's just the perfect time waster. It's basically a 2D minecraft with more action. I used to play this on my PC where I fell in love and I tried the mobile app but the game doesnt work very well on a touch screen, but they NAILED IT with the Nintendo Switch!

This game is such a nostalgic game and a great alternative to Minecraft. There is so much you can do in this game and it adds a nice 2-d dynamic.

Terraria is a fantastic game that's been ported to a dozen systems. The Switch port (the latest of several ports) suffers from slowdowns and lag in handheld mode. Hopefully this will be resolved with future patches, but as of now, mid game progression is very difficult due to random stutters and lockups. Even still, this game is very fun in handheld mode and it's a great way to spend a train or plane ride.

Similar to minecraft, much smaller worlds, not 3d. My son adores this game and it has recently experienced a surge in YouTube popularity so your kids will probably want it. I bought this so my son can play it on the go as we already own this on XBox.

Terraria is a very good game that you need to try. Terraria is a title that has aged very well. The game has a huge amount of content that will take many runs before it can claim to have seen everything the game has to offer.

It's the game that puts Minecraft to shame in 2D. If you are a fan since the XBOX 360 version, then you will enjoy this portable play game just as much.

This plays just like on the PS4 vession but I think more colorful a little bit of mindcraft building and fighting if your a fan of this type of game pick this up it's a solid buy.

Nice port of the game. Recent road trip, my boys played this alot. Controls are different, but once you get the hang of them its great!
