A: My guess is that they put that release date as a relative date that the game could be released at, or maybe they already got told the release date before the actual announcement. Although the exact same release date has been put on multiple sites. Either way it is looking like the game is coming very soon.

A: No, the controls are really my only complaint about the game. As with mobile, it's just clunky and inefficient.
Q: How many players can play on one switch and how many joycons does it require
A: The most likely thing would be two joycons because of how Terraria works it would need all of the joycons buttons.
