Great product! Works very well connecting to the main mobile connector. The only thing is you have to unlock and lock everything through the Tesla app but that’s about it.

Bought this from Best Buy in September 2025. It stopped working by April 2026 — well within the one-year warranty. Tesla refused to honor the warranty because I didn't buy it directly from them, and Best Buy couldn't help either. Tesla's workaround was a multi-step service appointment process that put the burden entirely on me as the customer. For a charging cable. That just stopped working. Ended up buying a $100 third-party charger from Amazon that works fine. If Tesla won't back its own products sold at major retailers, don't expect any support when something goes wrong. Buyer beware!

Not fast enough. Nothing wrong it. Only worth it if you’re on a long trip and staying on getaway. Otherwise. Superchargers and level 2s you’re better off with!

I was trying to decide between this and the wall charger, ended up getting this for few reasons: - Easier installation - Compact and easier to move - Cheaper and offering enough charging speed for my use I do not regret the purchase and recommend this. Try to pick it up, the delivery with Fedex delayed 3 days.

This works well for what I needed. One thing is that plugging into a standard 120 volt outlet will take a long time to charge. This is even more so if you have the car outside during cold weather. You can buy additional plugin attachments for various type of better voltage charging like welder or RV connections. These can be purchased on Amazon or Tesla you just need to match the proper plug to your connection. I would highly recommend this for any Tesla owners even if you have a Wall Connector at home. This gives you much more flexibility on road trips. Having enough energy to get where you are is one thing but this helps fill up your battery to get you to a supercharger. If you can keep it plugged in for a day or two it should get you close to 90% or more on a standard 120 volt. It is all about extra insurance in an emergency when all you have is a standard outlet to plugin to.

This tesla charger is great quality, and works well. I use it on a Tesla Model Y Long range, typically just with 120v outlet in my garage. I get about 20-25% charge overnight in normal conditions.

I bought this shortly after picking up a used 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD. The mobile charger is an official Tesla unit, and works perfect with the NACS plug. It comes with two adapters for the wall, a 15 amp standard plug and a 50 amp NEMA 14-50. You can also buy other adapters if your plug is different. In my case I bought a 14-30 (30 amp) adapter to plug into an outlet I had an electrician install one some 2 weeks later. I bought mine online as I wasn't in a rush. The 15 amp is about 5 miles per hour, where the 30 amp is 24 miles per hour. I would guess the 50 amp is about 35 miles per hour (Model 3 standard is 32 amp max charge). Honestly for me the 15 amp was fine, as an overnight 9pm-6am charge was good for 45 miles. I only drive ~20 miles, so even a long drive on the weekend this would "fill up" eventually. But with 30 amps, 24 miles per hour is more reassuring, and this charger can do both, and go with you if needed. I bought this online and picked it up from a Best Buy store. As always, it was quick and easy.

This charger came in clutch as my previous Gen 1 charger crapped the bed. This charger was in stock at the local Best Buy making it convenient. I was expecti.g it to be a "knock off" charger but it was the same charger that comes with the new generation of Teslas. It appears the tech inside has improved as i can now charge safely at 30A. My previous Tesla Gen 1 charger max'd out at 25A. Sp far, I love this charger.

Tesla brand, so you know you're getting a quality product. The main charging cord is robust and sturdy. The packaging is nice and tidy, and you're actually able to get it back into the carrying case. It did have issues working with an extension cord. So if you plan on attaching this to an extension cord, you likely need a lower gauge cord to support it. The good thing is, your Tesla will tell you if there's an issue. Highly recommend.
