Positives: low cost, simple to use, does everything except graphing, used by many schools. Negatives: only two lines of display, old technology, and no graphing. You can pay more for calculators that do graphing, but those calculators aren’t as easy to use as this one.

Bought this for my son to use for CHEM, MATH, PHYSICS. There is such a huge list of DO NOTs for what kind of calculator they can use. This one is a great price and fits every single listed requirements.

These are the standard by which all other non programmable calculators are measured. If you are testing and can’t use a programmable, this is the one you need.

I got this specifically for the FE exam and it does most of what you'll need for the test. Also good to point out it shows fractions which is really usefully to me for certain equations.

finding the right school calculator isn’t easy. when i found out bet buy had them, i was on it. it was affordable and works great.

This is the fourth one of this model that I have purchased. I use it for work, school, my home business and for licensing exams. It is one of the few models allowed by NCEES to be used on the PE exam.
