It was between this calculator and a TI-84 calculator. Of course the TI-84 is better, but the value that this calculator comes at, you can’t go wrong. This calculator may be lacking a graphing window, but works nearly identical to a TI-84. Best used with math classes not requiring you to graph.

Cheap, basic scientific calculator that's perfect for high school students. If you know you will go into a STEM field when you get to college you probably want to get a calculator in the TI-83/84 family, but otherwise save your money and get this one.

Bought this for my daughter in middle school. It's an excellent scientific calculator that is very easy to use and works great for her math class. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good scientific calculator.

I've always had the big fancy scientific calculators, however I decided to downgrade and get something a little more simplistic, but still has the multiple features. One of my favorite features is that it shows multiple lines, which I really enjoy because then I can see my math. It's slim and fits in my computer case well. I enjoy this.

This calculator is a great investment. It is inexpensive and very useful. When you have an expression with parentheses, numerators, denominators, powers, etc, you can type it in to this calculator as you would write it on paper. That makes life much easier. Plus, you can go back and review past calculation and alter those.

This calculator has served me greatly in my trigonometry class. It does a lot of things that I would not have expected from a scientific calculator and is more adequate in certain cases than a graphing calculator. For its price, its definitively worth buying if you need a good scientific calculator.

Having 3 lines to review is pretty awesome. I thought that downgrading from a TI86 and TI89 would be dramatic, but this 30Xs definitely had functions I used often to help reduce the cost of getting a new calculator by a fraction! Plus this is state test approved!

My son uses this calculator in his math class. It is the perfect size and an added screen protector. He doesn't have to worry about it getting broken in his backpack with the sleeve cover. It is easy to use and has all of the function keys that he needs.

Great calculator. It can do all the necessary calcukations needed for up to PreCalc. This is a great value for the functions included without having to buy a graohinc calculator .

I really like this calculator. I didn't want to spend a lot of a calculator as I know I will only use it for a few classes. This one is reasonably priced and works well. It is also light weight and comes with a nice cover

Needed a statistic calculator, found this at a great price, excellent features (all that I could ask for and more) and it doesn't hurt that its a nice color. Only had for a week, but I don't assume I will have problems from it anytime soon.

My high school junior needed this for math class. Works great! Does complex mathematical problem like a graphing calculator without the graphing capabilities. She absolutely loved the color.

Perfect size and weight. Got me through Chemistry classes and has never failed and easy to use! Sturdy and built exactly the same as the older Texas instruments.
