I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He is entering high school in 2016 and he was really happy with the gift. He said he could use it for all 4 years as it had graphing capability as well as several advanced functions. The fact that it displays in color was a plus.

I wasn’t happy that with only 13 days left in my semester I was told that I needed a ti 84 calculator. I had to buy it to do a few problems on statistics and probability. There was no way I was going to be able to do it off of the lower kind of calculator. I purchased the TI 84 CE and couldn’t have been happier with the results. Math problems and I’ve struggled hours on became so simple with this calculator. At first I thought learning the Calculator was going to be just a big pain but with all the videos out there on how to work this calculator it was so simple and easy to learn and use. As much as I didn’t want to have to buy it with only a few days left of school I’m glad I did purchase this calculator and it will not go to waste because I have a child that’s about to start ninth grade and is taking algebra so I’m sure this will only help her with her math homework as well. I am very pleased with my purchase

Didn't get it because I was dying to have a new shiny calculator. Kid had to have it for school. She likes that it's not the boring grey one that you usually find. She was also excited that some of the imaginary number formulas are already programmed in there.

This works as described and is exactly what we needed. We encountered many issues with calculators with batteries that were bad and not replaceable. Best Buy was the only retail store that had these calculators and it worked!

My freshman daughter was told to get this or another TI calculator. She has been able to learn the calculator quickly and has been receiving A's on all her tests and homework since using it. While I know that the grade comes from her knowing the subject matter, she has said the calculator has made it easier for her to answer the questions quickly and correctly. She loves the Pink (we almost didn't get the Pink version as it was up a the register, not with all the other calculators). On a side note, this calculator can handle some water as well. My daughter's school had a burst pipe and she was evacuated from the classroom without being able to take her backpack. There was a lot of water damage to books and papers in her backpack, but the calculator has worked great! I don't know how much water it was exposed to and for how long, but it is working great.

This Calculator is the very best TI 84 Graphing Calculator ever! It works better than the older models. I love being able to see the graphing results in different colors too. When I bring this calculator to Algebra class, other students are very much interested in its graphing features. Finally, thanks to Best Buy, I was able to purchase this very user-friendly calculator for a great price.

You can’t beat the functions of this calculator! Plus the ability to search for exactly what you need online and drive to pick it up make shopping at Best Buy so simple.

Grabbed this for Stats class in college. Was a real life saver compared to the online version of a scientific calculator that came with my college text book.

Love that this guy is rechargeable. Haven't had to recharge it yet at all, but it's a good feature instead of having to worry about batteries failing during a test or a late night homework session. You can view battery status on-screen, so you'd know to charge it before a test if needed. Everything functions as it's supposed to. It does a lot more than I'd ever need it for (calculus stuff). It DID take me a little bit to get familiar with it as I hadn't used a calculator like this in over 20 years. The color screen is great when looking at different functions at the same time, whether it's piecewise or just differentiations. I know there's a Casio out there that does pretty much identical things, but I've always trusted TI, and it seems most universities do as well.

Great calculator. Will take my son through high school and college math courses. Slimmer than the older versions. It’s pricy, but dividing it by the 8+ years he will be using it keeps it in perspective. My older son still uses a previous version. TI is reliable and dependable.
