This Calculator is the very best TI 84 Graphing Calculator ever! It works better than the older models. I love being able to see the graphing results in different colors too. When I bring this calculator to Algebra class, other students are very much interested in its graphing features. Finally, thanks to Best Buy, I was able to purchase this very user-friendly calculator for a great price.

I needed this for a college math course, it was easy to use and the battery life is better than I expected it to be. I was able to use it during multiple Zoom class sessions and for hours of online homework, and I charged it about every three days or so. This calculator is quite expensive but luckily Best Buy was able to honor a price match. Great quality.

This seemed to be the best calculator out of several with similar functions. The display is better and the graphing is extremely useful according to my son for use in his calculus class. It's a bit more expensive than the others, but it seems good. It's nice to be able to plug it into a computer USB to charge it, so you don't have to worry about not having an extra battery at the wrong time,

My daughter needed this for high school Algebra. It works great, came in good condition, and has survived many drops already! I anticipate she'll be able to use this all the way through college.

I love this product so much that I named her Tiffany. Trust me when I tell you that I didn't name any of the calculators I bought before Tiffany- and that's just about every cheaper calculator you can imagine. If it were not for Tiffany, I would not have made an A in my pre-stats AND stats classes. Obviously I had to put the work in and do my homework, but with the color screen and her pretty, sleek design- I suspect I enjoyed doing my homework more than my classmates did. Although Tiffany came with a fairly comprehensive instruction manual I found the best instructions via a lot of YouTube googling, and I would suggest other buyers to do the same. Also, don't forget the charger at home! This calculator does everything and the battery lasts a long time... but when it's donezo it's donezo, so bring your charger with you.

I am currently studying civil engineering at my local university and I had purchased the TI-84 Plus CE to use for my statistics for engineers course for summer semester 2016. This calculator is a must for anyone studying engineering as well as any other discipline that requires graphing calculators. The pros of this calculator are (1) slim redesign (2) color display (3) rechargeable battery (4) default standard used at most colleges (5) limited edition gold color. The cons of this calculator are (1) price (2) most commands are displayed horizontally unlike those on the TI-Nspire CAS where it can display multiple items vertically. Overall though, this calculator is a must for anyone studying the aforementioned subjects/disciplines.

Great calculator for simple calculation and complex math. It has been dependable and lasted for a few years. The battery last for a long time and you do not have to charge it often. It is a good durable calculator.

Bought this calculator for my daughter. She will be majoring in Engineering. It has all the graphing and an awesome display. The battery is rechargeable - so bye bye disposable batteries. She said it is perfect for all her math problems and absolutely loves it!

We purchase last year the TI-84 plus and it is great but this updated version is incredible, when it comes to functions they are the same. They perform every problem you need. the main differences are that on this model( TI-84 plus CE) it has an illuminated screen that at the same time is color and it has a rechargeable battery and last but not least, it is about half as thin as the other models. So if you are in need of a graphic calculator, you can rest asure that this is the one for you. BTW there are other retailers that have it for less, but if you do your home work and bring evidence to Best Buy they would gladly honor the cheaper price. I did it and there was no problem having the cheaper price honor by Best Buy.

Ok so the calculator itself is great for what it's designed to do. The Python integration is neat, though pretty cumbersome on the unit. It's not meant for massive coding. Write code on a PC and transfer it. The color display is quite a nice upgrade from earlier monotone models. The main problem i have is that the hardware components are extremely old at this point and those parts have lowered in cost significantly since it's debut. But the customer price remains high. Now, throw in that it's using a long dead usb-b mini connector, with ti not even bothering to update that too the last generation micro style let alone usb type c. Can't even easily find the first generation mini type b anymore. At this point it should be sold only with usb type c if they are going to be over charging students. Thing is too that there are graphing calculator apps that will run on $40 phone hardware. But those aren't allowed on exams. So they take extreme advantage in over pricing. The menu flow has always been a bit convoluted. And I'm not sure why there isn't an equal character in the main alpha keys for programming.

It's just like the regular ti-84 as far as layout of the buttons and the built in catalog. But this calculator displays/formats the information in a better manner since it has a backlit color display. It's rechargeable ( via included mini usb), and its thinner.

This was a sporadic purchase at the time. I was in the store looking for something else, but suddenly remembered my two older daughters that are high school recently had a disagreement over the lone TI-83 that was handed down from their aunt. This tool is essential now-a-days. This model is suitable for ACT/SAT testing, & the first full charge to the thing has lasted well over a month so far and still showing it hasn't lost any on the battery in the top right corner. It's pretty much one of those things that every high school student should have, unless they don't want to take a math course tougher than Algebra. This Calculator is a beast of a machine!!!

Perfect for calculus class. Good quality and convenient.

I like this product because you can create ‘programs’ using python and then upload them to the calculator using a TI software. The programs you can create them using TI’s language or you can create them using any other python IDE’s. I personally used PyCharm. The battery life is great, I use it on the daily basis for at least a couple of hours and only charge it once every two weeks or so. The calculator itself is easy to use and if you have doubts there are some great YouTube videos out there that can help

Bought this product for my grandson. He is very pleased with the ease of use. Great product; great price!!

If you are looking for this calculator you know there are no real alternatives, does what it suppose to and BB had best price!

It is so expensive and I feel uneasy about that, But it is so helpful to highschoolers to work on their Algebra, esp for graphing and finding max and min value.

Love the ease of working with this in the classroom & no batteries. Students love seeing the graphs. Great Ti product.
