My daughter needed this for high school Algebra. It works great, came in good condition, and has survived many drops already! I anticipate she'll be able to use this all the way through college.

Its a calculator for school, does it's job. Daughter has not complained about it.

Forget the 5 stars, I rate this product 100 stars. I am a college student and thought without a calculator I would try to memorize formulas. Although, I memorized many formulas throughout the first few weeks of a particular semester, it was 3x faster doing my problems with this "Bad Boy." The graphs are in color for easy pinpointing and multiple problem solving. Rechargeable battery - no hassle, and easily connects to a computer for extra downloaded programs. In addition, as an extra accommodation, pictures can be downloaded to personalize the background screen... Buy It!

Great calculator. Will take my son through high school and college math courses. Slimmer than the older versions. It’s pricy, but dividing it by the 8+ years he will be using it keeps it in perspective. My older son still uses a previous version. TI is reliable and dependable.

So your kid is in high school and you fined out yet again that this is a requirement so what do you do where do you go. Amazon almost full price and 5 days. Walmart out of stock and online more than regular full price. Target no luck. Rando online retailers good luck with getting the correct model for the correct price. Go to Best Buy and what do you know they have the current model in black and white or color at sales prices in stock and associates eager to unlock them and move you along. Thank you Best Buy. For you parents that know most kids won't use this paperweight be a good parent an go to Best Buy. For those of you that know your kid will use the heck out of this just go to best Buy and get the color version. Easy to recharge. EXACTLY what the teachers require. The planet will run out of stock every year before high school starts. Buy now!

If you have any older model of this calculator then it's pretty much the same just slimmer and faster. Personally I would say if you don't have the money to upgrade then don't. Don't get me wrong it's an absolutely great calculator and I definitely recommend it if you have a much much older calculator or are looking for your first.

Brought this for my daughter on sale. I love the new updated version. It's much slimmer and not bulky like the last version. Stays charged for a long time. Great graphics and easy functions. Worth the money for all students who are required to get one.

Love that this guy is rechargeable. Haven't had to recharge it yet at all, but it's a good feature instead of having to worry about batteries failing during a test or a late night homework session. You can view battery status on-screen, so you'd know to charge it before a test if needed. Everything functions as it's supposed to. It does a lot more than I'd ever need it for (calculus stuff). It DID take me a little bit to get familiar with it as I hadn't used a calculator like this in over 20 years. The color screen is great when looking at different functions at the same time, whether it's piecewise or just differentiations. I know there's a Casio out there that does pretty much identical things, but I've always trusted TI, and it seems most universities do as well.

This Calculator is the very best TI 84 Graphing Calculator ever! It works better than the older models. I love being able to see the graphing results in different colors too. When I bring this calculator to Algebra class, other students are very much interested in its graphing features. Finally, thanks to Best Buy, I was able to purchase this very user-friendly calculator for a great price.

it serves the purpose it was bought for and usually lasts a long time unless the kid does not take care of it or submerges them into water etc :)

This works as described and is exactly what we needed. We encountered many issues with calculators with batteries that were bad and not replaceable. Best Buy was the only retail store that had these calculators and it worked!

Kids needed it for High School and College needs. Best BUY matched Amazon and using rewards made the deal sweet Plus gave more warranty then Amazon.
