My wife is going back for her MBA. This calculator is so much better than the one I had 10 years ago in high school.

I am a college student and I bought this calculator at best buy which they price matched at 125 for me. First when I pull it out the first thing people say is wow that calculator is in color. I just smile like yeah haha. When it comes to usage it is remarkable plus the battery is rechargeable and comes with the charger. The unit is slimmer than other calculators so if you are big on space saving it is just right. Just make sure you price match and it is definitely worth the price it comes out to the price as a bulky one that is not in color. It says one can load images on there but I have not ventured into that area yet

I am a full-time college student and needed this specific calculator for my Math Statistics class. I searched at Best Buy in Covington to see if they had and they did, one left. The gentleman that assisted me before I purchased the calculator was very helpful in explaining to me on how to use it and he validated for me that though the calculator was pricey, it will definitely accommodate my current need for it as well my four boys as they may need it throughout the rest of their academic years. This is a great calculator and it is definitely serving it's purpose for my Math Statistics class. It also holds a good charge for a long time before you need to recharge it.

My daughter found this and she told mom this is the one i need because this is the only good one and yes she is very happy using it

Great product, easy to use. Makes doing homework easier for my teenager.

You literally can't do Calculus without this. Needing to plot multiple lines on a graph, being able to distinguish them by color is the only way to do differentiate the lines at times. I've had this product for a couple years now and it still has excellent battery life, takes a charge quickly, and is probably the best investment I've made in my University career to day.

My son is in advanced physics and calculus courses in high school, and this calculator has been a huge help to him.

Best calculator for SAT, python programming and math classes.

This was a sporadic purchase at the time. I was in the store looking for something else, but suddenly remembered my two older daughters that are high school recently had a disagreement over the lone TI-83 that was handed down from their aunt. This tool is essential now-a-days. This model is suitable for ACT/SAT testing, & the first full charge to the thing has lasted well over a month so far and still showing it hasn't lost any on the battery in the top right corner. It's pretty much one of those things that every high school student should have, unless they don't want to take a math course tougher than Algebra. This Calculator is a beast of a machine!!!

I wanted this calculator for a while and when Christmas came up I immediately knew what I was going to get. Well the price may be a little steep for a calculator, the features and functionality make up for it every time. Although the shiny black black plastic does scuff and scratch pretty easily if not taken care of, but in the end all what matters is the operations and if it's successful in doing so. in the end I would recommend this calculator to anybody looking for one I would recommend this to students in college or in high school as this calculator would probably last them a while before they would need to buy a new one.

Comparing to the previous versions, Plus CE is much thinner, while having all of the previous options (plus a lot of new stuff). Also, the rechargeable battery through the USB cable (used for data exchange) is very convenient.

The purchase was made as a gift for a college student taking elementary statistics. I am a retired mathematics and science teacher and I highly recommend Texas Instruments' products. TI stands behind the workmanship and if you have difficulty with manipulations, you can always call the company.

I purchased this TI-84+ CE Graphing calculator for my middle schooler. It's normally priced higher, but I happened to catch it at a good deal. While the schools are using a TI-84+, this version has color to contrast different graphs, has more memory and a faster processor. I was hoping to grab one that supports Python programming, but I believe this one can be upgraded to support Python. I'm hoping that this can be used for many years of schooling.

I like this product because you can create ‘programs’ using python and then upload them to the calculator using a TI software. The programs you can create them using TI’s language or you can create them using any other python IDE’s. I personally used PyCharm. The battery life is great, I use it on the daily basis for at least a couple of hours and only charge it once every two weeks or so. The calculator itself is easy to use and if you have doubts there are some great YouTube videos out there that can help

School requested to purchase the plan version but the color is so much better to view the screen. Wierd part was Best Buy had the color version for cheaper than the plain black and white screen.

Surely there is a mobile app out there that does the exact same thing for cheaper. But alas, just like the antiquated college bookstore keeps antiquated books selling for $200 a pop, college classes and professors keep the venerable Texas Instruments TI 84 selling. Most professors will not allow smartphone use in the classroom. So the TI 84 is the only option. Most of these are likely are used one-and-done. I think every desk drawer in America of anyone who's attended a college-level math class has one of these in it. Do I recommend it? Sure. Do students have a choice? No.
