I purchased this particular calculator for my daughter in college. This unit is easy to use and is multi-functional meaning that it can be used for other situations other than college math. It is also very affordable. Best buy's price, even with the warranty protection, was comparative with other retailers and even less expensive than some.

How can a calculator be this expensive? Only if it graphs for you, besides conducting calculations. Rather than renting one from the college library, rather have one of our own. Just in case of mishaps; the cell phone has dropped a couple of times, just saying. In the long run it’ll be used in Physics and other classes. Says it has 10 graphing functions. Hope this works.

Calculator works perfect for graphing functions. Got it for my daughter so she could better learn Algebra and Trigonometry problems, from a function perspective and seeing the outcome. Great for that.

This calculator was purchased for a high school student. It has more functions than she needed but will definitely be getting use out of those in when she attends college. Good visual display. Great ease of use. Good battery life. Quick to recharge.

Bought this for my HS Junior. Had the older model that the screen broke unfortunately by accident after a fall. Very reliable and rugged calculator and the 84 plus has the extra USB port to connect with a computer. It is ACT exam room safe and overall a very good graphics calculator for the price.

This is the third graphing calculator we have bought from Best Buy for our college and school-aged children. Texas Instruments is always reliable and easy to use and Best Buy has the best price (and will always price-match if not). Always happy with our purchase of Texas Instruments and with Best Buy!

This was my second purchase for this calculator, but not due to performance. My second child started high school and needed this to excel in her studies. The first one is still going strong for my college student. I recommend this for it's value and performance to all parents and students alike.

I've had a couple versions of TI calculators and I've never been disappointed with any of them. The better versions have simple yet useful upgrades that make the calculator easier to use. I love my calculator and if it ever breaks, I'll definitely be getting another one

My son needed a graphing calculator for school, so I got him this one. It's easy to use and durable, because my kids accidentally dropped it on the floor several times. I would recommend this calculator to everyone.

Excellent instrument for a good price. This calculator is user friendly, it's just the right size and fits easily in my case without taking up to much space. It has all the features that are required for algebra as well as geometry. Definitely meets my needs.

Value: Texas Instruments responds to questions via email, can be reached by phone, and has troubleshooting info online. That’s IF you have trouble years down the road. Ease of use: It takes some effort to learn the power and variety of how to use this calculator in math and science applications, but that is easily facilitated by concise public instructive videos.

Very good for math classes, graphs and traces lines making it super helpful

This is a very technically advanced Calculator that has helped me successfully solve so many math equations! One of the best I’ve ever had. I’m 60 and taking advanced math for the first time in 40+ years. Of course I also had to learn how to use the calculator but having learned it definitely simplifies things for me. While it was a bit costly it was a great investment.
