I am an engineering student and also tutor other students. This calculator has been great for my uses. It is a little harder to learn to use but with all of the different things you can do that is expected.

Price was comparable to other retailers, but other stores that listed this item didn't have the item in stock. Appreciated that Best Buy had the item in stock and you have options as to how you can receive your purchase.

This calculator is a must-have for college mathematics courses. It has all the necessary functions. Other models do not have the functions to complete the calculations I have been assigned to solve in my classes.

Son need it for first year of college. The unit seems quite sturdy. The sliding cover fit very well so the unit is well protected. Will see how long the battery life will be.

Has a lot of power in a small package. Can do many things a computer can, but in a smaller package. The price is teep, especially considering the non-Titanium version is much less and does most of the same things.

Use best buy cause it's easy, convenient & reasonable. You always carry the brands & models for the electronic equipment I desire & buying on line with easy efficient pick up will keep me coming back.

The TI 89 is the best calculator out there for a scientist. After I lost mine, I used my old TI 83 for about a year and it drove me crazy. I am glad to have a replacement.
