I needed a new calculator since my old TI finally died after many years. This had all the necessary functions and as a added bonus I knew exactly where to find them. So far I have been very satisfied with this product.

I purchased this for my wife, she uses it for school and accounting. It is a very nice basic calculator. it does what you need and does not break the bank

It's a nice financial calculator. It takes some getting used to. Some issues I have with it are the small window, lack of visible parenthesis, and the inability to "correct" mistyped keys. I tend to type very fast. I am also used to a 10-key pad with the numbers reversed to the calculator, and lighter keystrokes. These have made my learning curve a bit steeper.

I am taking a corporate finance class and this calculator was recommended by my prof. So far, the functions have been easy to use and generally intuitive.
I've had no problems with it, except that the cover can be tricky to get on to the calculator.

many youtube explains this one, so not really need a booklet
but lacks of some advanced functions,
the cover is not so easy to open, unlike the previous sliding cover
no discount or coupons for this one,
not recommand, buying a $10 used is a smarter choice

This is probably one of only a handful of business calculators that are used by most in business. Simple features, a simple display, but essential functionality for valuation and TVM. I wish the calculator was more up-to-date and more user friendly, but for $30, you can't expect much.

This calculator main attraction is to calculate time value of money. Both present and future values. You can also get the term or interest rate if you need to calculate those. You cant press buttons quickly or the press wont be recognized. Otherwise its a great financial calculator. Ti also has a slightly more expensive version that the button presses are that of early smartphones (Blackberry and the like). I was tempted on getting that one but I can no longer return this model and my professor teaches out of this model. It has been around for a long time, just updates to the mold.
