This has WAY more functions than I would know what to do with, but was required by my child’s school for her math classes. She showed me how it was used and I was impressed by the screen, imaging, and how is could connect to the computer to upload. Things have come a long way since I had to get one 30 years ago! I really hope she uses this into college, because these are not cheap for the high school requirement. But as a machine, these have always been the gold standard for their time. Anyone going into a tech/mathematics/engineering field will probably use the functionality the most.

It depends on what you need this equipment for. I needed all the help with Algebra 2 and Statistics. I found the TI-Nspire a bit easier to navigate than the TI-84. However, calculating manually with formula's is still necessary prior to entering equations into calculator. They do not do all the work like I was hoping unless I code them specifically. The great news is that both my TI-Nspite cx 2 and TI/84 CE are codable. I recommended them both.
