The TI TI-84+ graphing calculator has very small size which occupies less space in the school bag or on the desk. It is easy to operate. Children can read and understand the graphic easily with color graphic display. Color display can also help to reduce the student mistake. the cost is affordable. Will for sure good to purchase compared with others.

Bought this calculator to use for my college classes and it's great. It's better that the TI-84 calculator. I love the color display plus the fact that the calculator is a lot slimmer than the previous model.
This calculator is more compact since it doesn't use regular batteries but instead it has to be charged, that could be a negative however the battery lasts a little over a week with constant use.
I highly recommend this calculator for college students.

This model is required by my daughters high school, not a bad calculator. Easy to read and has all of the functionality you would expect plenty of memory, and the battery charge lasts a long time.
In a classroom environment if the instructor is using the TI Interactive software, the ability to send problems to the students, and check their work remotely is a huge plus.
However if you are looking for 'THE' Graphing calculator and do not mind spending a little more, the HP Prime is my go to at work, and is well used. By far the best choice.

I love this product so much that I named her Tiffany. Trust me when I tell you that I didn't name any of the calculators I bought before Tiffany- and that's just about every cheaper calculator you can imagine. If it were not for Tiffany, I would not have made an A in my pre-stats AND stats classes. Obviously I had to put the work in and do my homework, but with the color screen and her pretty, sleek design- I suspect I enjoyed doing my homework more than my classmates did. Although Tiffany came with a fairly comprehensive instruction manual I found the best instructions via a lot of YouTube googling, and I would suggest other buyers to do the same. Also, don't forget the charger at home! This calculator does everything and the battery lasts a long time... but when it's donezo it's donezo, so bring your charger with you.

The TI-84 Plus CE is a solid and dependable calculator that’s perfect for college-level math and science. It’s fast, has a bright color display, and the battery life is excellent—I only need to charge it every few weeks with regular use.
What really stands out is how intuitive the interface is, especially for students already familiar with earlier TI models. Graphing functions are quick and easy, and the color-coded lines help keep everything clear when working with multiple equations.
The build is sturdy but still light enough to carry in a backpack without adding weight.
The only downside is the price—it’s on the expensive side—but given how long it lasts and how often it’s used, I think it’s worth it. Overall, a great tool for anyone serious about math or science.

Great calculator for simple calculation and complex math. It has been dependable and lasted for a few years. The battery last for a long time and you do not have to charge it often. It is a good durable calculator.

Bought this calculator for my daughter. She will be majoring in Engineering. It has all the graphing and an awesome display. The battery is rechargeable - so bye bye disposable batteries. She said it is perfect for all her math problems and absolutely loves it!

It's just like the regular ti-84 as far as layout of the buttons and the built in catalog. But this calculator displays/formats the information in a better manner since it has a backlit color display. It's rechargeable ( via included mini usb), and its thinner.

The size of this calculator is great and very durable like most Texas Instrument products are. Along with the long lasting battery life I was able to go weeks at a time without having to charge this calculator.

This was a sporadic purchase at the time. I was in the store looking for something else, but suddenly remembered my two older daughters that are high school recently had a disagreement over the lone TI-83 that was handed down from their aunt. This tool is essential now-a-days. This model is suitable for ACT/SAT testing, & the first full charge to the thing has lasted well over a month so far and still showing it hasn't lost any on the battery in the top right corner. It's pretty much one of those things that every high school student should have, unless they don't want to take a math course tougher than Algebra. This Calculator is a beast of a machine!!!

I like this product because you can create ‘programs’ using python and then upload them to the calculator using a TI software. The programs you can create them using TI’s language or you can create them using any other python IDE’s. I personally used PyCharm. The battery life is great, I use it on the daily basis for at least a couple of hours and only charge it once every two weeks or so. The calculator itself is easy to use and if you have doubts there are some great YouTube videos out there that can help

After asking my son’s Integrated III math teacher what the difference was between this one and other similar calculators. He recommended this one. It can be used for the next 5+ years at least. His own high school son has this exact calculator and it works perfect for his needs.
To me that’s the best answer. It came straight from the teacher himself not a sales guy that has no clue.
Also, while purchasing this in the store, another person was there buying the same item(adult) for a college level class.

Excellent for any age. My daughterseventh grade pre-AP algebra teacher recommended this for her. They use a similar model in school, this one is in color which makes it easier for her to see the differences and graphing. She loves it and it is acceptable for ACT/SAT and it will carry her through college. My son Is seven years older and I bought his, the older model, 7 years ago and he still uses it although he would prefer the color and the charge-ability Of this one over buying batteries.

Great calculator for engineering student. Easy to read color graphic display. It is light and thin with a long lasting battery - almost a month before it needs a charge.

Having purchased and successfully used my first scientific pocket calculator, the TI-SR-50 back in 1973, I knew that the state-of-the art TI-84+CE Graphic Calculator would be the one for my high school junior granddaughter. I was right! She likes it very much and helps her compute and solve her math and chemistry problems. It's very fast, easy to use and graphs well. It is an investment that will extend from her pre-calculus class through AP/SAT/ACT exams and into college.

My older son needed this calculator for high school. He used it all 4 years and into his freshman year at college. It’s been great and has never failed. Holds its charge a long time and must be easy to use because he has never asked for help with it. We just bought this second one for our younger son who starts high school this year. It’s pricey but it’s what is required, and I know he’ll get years of use out of it.
