I'm so glad they are starting to release this series on blu-ray. I had no idea that the show was originally shot in widescreen. I had only seen DVD episodes and reruns on television which are all 4:3 but this has the episodes in 16:9. While it's not as pivotal as in movies, I still love getting all of the intended info in each shot. The video quality is also superior to DVD. You can see textures and colors much more clearly. Overall a great buy especially at $20 or less. Here's hoping they continue to release all seasons on blu-ray.

There are parts in this show when you laugh at something and then immediately laugh even harder when another character responds. The critics may say a few other comedies were better, but they didn't get as many big laughs as this one did in every episode. All of the characters are so great in this that draw you in from the start and that's why no matter what else they do they'll always be known for "That '70s Show" right at the top of their credits.

The HD transfer on this release is a revelation! The show is even more fun to watch with fantastic picture quality, and it is in widescreen as well. Highly recommended to all fans of the series.
