It Won't Change Minds, But It Doesn't Need To
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no knowledge of Bring Me the Horizon's early days. I first heard of them when Sempiternal came out and fans seemed to be in open revolt. I liked that record well enough, particularly some of the lyrics, but this one is a fair bit better. Sempiternal was clearly a transition, and this one has the advantage of the band going deeper and doubling down on the sound. Reminds me of the Deftones a bit, which is a plus in my book.
