The preview looked like a good story. This has the feel of the Body Snatchers meets Independende day to it. I thnk Chloe was not accepted by public for this kind of movie but she comes through in her part. I hear due to box office, they may not continue series which would stink.

I really believe the movie deserves 3 1/2 stars, but I can only vote whole stars. This movie follows the basic horror/suspense movie formula and I think that is where it loses it's momentum. This is the first of a series, and though I have not read the books, it seems they were written to not be able to stand on it's own as a separate story. So much time is spent wondering what is going to happen, that in the end, I felt the entire movie was a prelude to future movies. It isn't all bad. I really liked the action scenes andthe lead actress is fantastic in carrying the entire weight of this movie on her shoulders. So my final adbice? If you love action suspense movies ssprinkled with horror, go for it. If you aren't sure? Rent the movie first.

Actually, a very underrated sci-fi flick, with very good special effects. The main character seems sorta young to be put in such a precarious situation. She could've and should've been a more mature person, though. I did like the movie-- as a minor "Independence Day".

The order came on time. I did not read the books prior to watching the movie, therefore, I cannot comment on that. Yet, I did enjoy watching the movie with my family. The ending seems abrupt, but because it is a series that was understandable.

I have not read the book, but the movie was great. Good story lines. Haven't found any wholes. Just what I would expect from a great movie. I have to admit that I not only saw it in the cinema but had to get the BD version. Its a keeper.

this is an enjoyable scifi action movie that includes a digital copy code too. watch to learn how humanity finds a way to survive the many different waves of destruction at mankind ending with the mental and emotional attacks from alians.

I enjoyed this movie. Interesting premise, not just an alien race blasting lasers. It shows an alien race that operates in a different approach than what humans might do, which, really, makes a lot of sense. Nice CGI, too!

Many movies have been made that have different takes on what would be a possible outcome if an alien race came to earth. This is as possible as any other posed , LOL!! . I believe you will like this movie if you enjoyed Falling Skies.

My expectations for this film were a BIT low, but when we went to the theater to see this, I was really into it! What happens near the end may shock you! Definitely check this out if you're into "end of the world" kind of movies!

We were all interested edit it was really good at the beginning at least for me it held my interest for most of the movie. It just seemed a little drawn out for me but the kids liked it a lot. Story was clear and interesting.

I am a fan of Chloe Grace Moretz.She did a awsome job in this film.I was between a 3 star or 4,I went with 4 because it has such a great start to a series/sequel. The ground work has been nicely layed out,so come on part two...

What can I say, "Four waves of increasingly deadly alien attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Cassie is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother.", this ends up being a good alien-apocalyptic offering!!!

I enjoyed this show because it was a departure from the other teeny movies that have been produced in the past. I noticed one scene though that i thought took away from the show. That was when the three main characters meet in a hallway. The hallway looked fabricated, which of course it was, but it showed. Other than that the acting was great, the special affects were excellent, and of course the actors gave the impression that they were the real deal. Nice to see especially in a show of this magnitude. I have read the second book in the series and look forward to seeing the movie.

The movie trailers made this movie look interesting. I purchased this movie and I thought it was just OK. I really want a "sequal" to Battle - Los Angeles. I thought that was a great war - like film involving aliens.

The movie was very interesting with great cinematography. I like the actors and the crop. Involved. It does keep you interested and guessing the outcome. You suspect something but in the end you are surprised.

Not a bad SciFi movie. But I love SciFi, What can I say. It was my 1st 4K movie and it played great. It's a movie I'll rewatch, just like I do my other SciFi movies. Plus it was on sale at Best Buy!

As a Sci-fi fanatic, this movie was a breath of fresh air. Although it did not fair well at the Box Office, I am glad I took a chance on it. Quite enjoyable. A family movie, that will be enjoyed by all.

I purchased this movie for my fifteen year old.She loved the movie,but did say it differed from the novel.This is pretty common in book adaptations,but just offering a small warning for book purists.

Very well made movies, high impact action. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. My popcorn bowl fell twice out of my hands. I really enjoyed watching this movie using my six channel audio system.

Interesting twist on the alien invasion story. Liked the ending; seemed like they might have a sequel in mind. Could be interesting to see where they take it. Good acting from such a young cast.
