This is an awesome movie! Watching what this girl goes thru o find her little brother is amazing. To think one day she is your average happy go lucky teenage, then the next day her world is turned upside down. The life she once knew is gone. The world is in shambles, her mother dies, her father is killed at a camp & her little brother has been kidnapped by what they were told was the Army. Risking her life, she searches dangerous areas trying to find him & to save him from the enemies that are taking over the world.

Wanted to see this in theaters and never got around to it. Feel like Chloe is starting to outgrow her young roles. Worth the purchase and the watch if you like the big epic disaster type movies.

I still haven't been able to sit down and watch it, but my 17 year old thought it was just great. He started reading the books after seeing the movie, and I haven't heard any complaints yet.

I bought this because it was on sale. I had gotten to see it for free in theaters and it was better than I thought it would be. It's an interesting story with a few good action scenes.

If you have seen one you have seen them all, right? Not necessarily, I recommend you give this one a chance.Plot is actually thought and makes sense, in a Sci-Fi way, emjoy...

Very different take on the alien invasion stories. Only the ships are seen to intrigue the audience. Good characters to care about but seemed to be first in a possible series.

I purchased this movie for my daughter, who had requested it. She said it was very entertaining and kept her on the edge of her seat. She said she would recommend it to her friends.

Great movie and the graphics are awesome on the 4K . Only problem I got is the price for the 4K movies is a little too much I know it's kind of new but still price is ridiculous

I went into this movie with no expectations but to be entertained. For what it's worth, it did that. There were parts that were too formulaic but, overall, it kept me watching.

This movie is based on a series by the author Rick Yancey.A killer of a movie; can't wait for the sequel.If you like the Divergent series than you will love this movie as well.

I bought this movie for my sister and wasn't really interested in the movie. But after watching it I liked it a lot. If you like maze runner and devergient you'd like this.

I bought this on a whim & it turned out to be a pretty good movie. It is not Star Wars but if you want a good SIFI movie for a rainy Saturday afternoon...this is the one.

If you enjoy Young Adult fiction like Hunger Games and Divergent then you will enjoy this. I was expecting a piece of fluff but it turned out pretty good and enjoyable.

This movie definitely makes you want to see the second one right away! The twist is something you may have seen coming but makes you wonder what's going to happen next.

Excellent movie very suspenseful and great for those that love end of the world movies. Only one problem the movie did not come with the Digital copy like it said.

Great story and movie, I really enjoyed the flow. As each mystery presented itself a question, it was later answered very well done. Was really able to get involved.

Earth faces yet another showdown vs. the unknown with the hero on the lookout for her missing brother. Will she find him and will earth defeat the unknown terror?

The movie in 4K is pretty spiffy, if you are looking for eye candy in general, and while the movie was a bit better than I expected, it was a tad predictable.

Big science fiction fan and decided to give this chance even though I am older that the target audience. I did like the story and am looking forward to the sequel.

Bought this on a whim because my daughter enjoyed the book but we missed the movie in theaters. The movie was very predictable and cliche, but that is due to the influx of YA apocalyptic books/movies of the last few years. I can't say any of us loved it, but we didn't hate it either. The upside is that purchasing the DVD while it was on sale was much less expensive than taking my 3 kids to the theater to see it. However, I would say wait for it to come to Netflix...
