A good classic stop motion movie. fair acting and no excessive violence or gore. The special effects were great for the time this movie was produced.

The Blu-ray is definitely a step up in picture and sound quality from the DVD. This movie was a big hit when it was released in 1958 and I remember seeing it at the drive-in theater when I was 10 years old. I thought it was wonderful and it was my favorite movie at that time. The movie has it all, a handsome adventurer, a beautiful princess, a genie in the lamp, an evil magician, and lots of fantastic monsters by Ray Harryhausen. I watched the movie in its entirety when I received the Blu-ray and my opinion of the movie has not changed. It is still a fantastic adventure 58 years after its release.

Saw this movie years ago with my family when it played in the theatre for the first time. It has a good story line and great stop motion special effects by Ray Harryhausen.

These older movies are honestly better than a lot of films being made today. The special affects are very good.

Just watched this the other night, as a refresher. It’s pretty great (except Sinbad is a really white guy…haha…that wouldn’t fly today). But again, the Harryhausen movies are so epic for their time.

I remember watching the Sinbad movies over & over. Campy SFX by today's standard, but you have to enjoy it for what it is & when it was made!

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad is my all time favorite.
Advanturous Story yet fills with part romance genre.
I like everything about it, from the plot, settings, charaters and to the costumes.
Even though the plot is simple and the usual
Hero saves the Day and his Love type.
However, It is still one of the greatest Sinbad movie ever made.
Only misfortune would the graphic and special effects.
A bit of too unrealist
Overall, It is a wonderful and worth recommending to anyone who is into old time island treasure advanture fantasy.
