I am not a big Ben Affleck fan, but he is a fine actor and I do believe he gets a lot of bad reviews when he doesn't deserve it. But in this movie he hits a home run. He nails this character. The movie is helped much by the surrounding cast. Anna Kendrick, Jon Berthanal, John Litihgow, J.K. Simmons all serve as tremendous support of the title character. The story is not your usual hitman gets target, followed by explosions, and wise cracking lines. This is a very real person that is plagued by Autism. And as I said before Affleck nails it solidly. The last 3 mins of the movie, with the closing theme by Sean Rowe " I'm Trying To Leave Something Behind". is just amazing. I highly recommend the movie

Ben Affleck portrays an autistic accountant with near savant abilities. He exemplifies what can be achieved with his innate, but flawed, abilities. Each time I view this film I understand more of its detailed non-linear (flashback) plot details. It has intelligent well formed characters and a compelling "who done it, and WHY?" plot.

Ben Affleck is excellent in this movie!! J.K Simmons does a great job as well. Great movie!!

For me one of the best actuation of Ben Aflex, the rest of the cast was super actuation. The film location and scenes is very acure with the film history

I think this is the best Ben Affleck film as the cast is perfect. I have worked with John Lithgow and he is great going back to his roots as a villain! I collect physical media as sure you can stream but they can yank it from your streaming services so that is my take.

I love this movie. Such a great film. The only problem I have with this version of the 4K is that there was no digital included. So now I have to wait for a sale online to have it on there too so I can watch at school. I do recommend getting this if it’s super cheap like it was for me ($10) but I do recommend getting the copy with digital. I’m not sure which one that is.

Enjoyed this movie greatly and bought it for my brother-in-law as a Xmas present. They can't stream and don't have a blu-ray, so the DVD is great. Ben Affleck really makes the character believable. The flashbacks are tantalizing, I wish there were just a little more of them, but they are sufficient to give insight as to his family relationships and personal development. There is a bit of subtle and macabre humor, that I found very entertaining. The end song is perfect. Very well done movie.

I have watched this movie at least six times and finally purchased it. It is tightly written with the most informative aspects of autism and Asburger's. If you have a family member or friend who needs more support, this movie will give you an excellent understanding of the best practice ideas to validate a loved one. It is difficult to watch, but if you modify some of the ideas to suit your situation, you will find this amazingly true and helpful.

The Accountant is actually a pretty good film. I purchased it on 4k because Best Buy had a great sale, free shipping, and I used a Best Buy reward. Best Buy is the best!

Great exciting movie with several twist and turns to keep you clued to the screen, not to miss one word. Ben does a very convincing role in this one. Where did a Tax man learn how to do Tax's this way. Guns, knifes, and hand-to-hand combat. A must see for Ben A. fans!

This is one of my favorite flicks. Ben Affleck does a great job portraying a person with functional autism. The writing is good and fills in the backstory as the movie progresses. Great acting and a lot of twists to keep you interested.

Different movie. Interesting and not as the title appeared but interesting movie. I enjoyed it.

In John Wick fashion. A boy takes a disability and hones it into an acute asset. Subtle story lines, believable and enjoyable characters, some unexpected wry humor, wrapped around an intense action movie. A must have for any pesronal collection.
