Great take on a TV 2 movie film great acting , well done job all around

Vastly different than the tv show yet still compelling and funny.

Good Blu Ray, I am glad I was finally able to get it.

I think the thing I love most in this film is the crude humor. It is something that probably would not be released for audiences in today's environment. This 4k release has such fine detail that you can see the cob-webs on the walls as well as the fake sweat on the faces of each respected actor. Paramount has put out a reference quality disc of a classic film for the next generation to enjoy.

A great example for upgrading to 4K. The colors pop, the dark scenes are rich and inky black, and detail is a noticable improvement. And finally getting the extended dance scene is a great addition. If you haven't seen it, it's dark humor, stylish cinematography, and excellent casting make it the best Addams Family adaption. (besides the original TV series of course)

I have always loved this bizarre movie since I was a kid and now on 4K it looks aboslutely stunning. I was actually shocked at how good it looks. Not only one of the best restorations of the year, but possibly ever. A very pleasant surprise. Must own if you love the movie or collect the best looking 4K discs.

The visuals on the movie itself feels like a DVD, and the sound isn't that good either. Although I do love the movie, I'd recommend you wait for an upgraded release.

Great movie of a even greater show. Angelica Huston is great. Raul Julia was just awesome. I miss his movies. (He died way too young). I love the one liners: "Don't torture yourself Gomez . . . that's my job!" Also when she's being stretched on the rack and she says seductively to the torturer "You've done this before!" Hysterical! A must own!

Rarely do films that were TV shows first cast new faces in roles that are already identifiable. The cast of this Addams Family movie is so well chosen that I didn't even think about who originally held the TV roles. Raul Julia & Angelica Huston are so good together; I think they were the best part of this movie. Great Halloween fun even if it's not Halloween yet!

For a while, only "The Addams Family" was available on blu ray, but this set also pairs it with "Addams Family Values", a welcome edition. Two of our family's favorites are available together at last, looking better than ever and at a great price to boot.

The picture quality on the 4K disc is amazing -- one of the best looking discs in my collection. Who would have thought it could ever look and sound this great?! Bring on 4K "Family Values!"

Don’t be suckered by the “more Mamushka” hype - present version indistinguishable from original. However, still mordantly and riotously funny. Great 4K rendering.

As physical media draws closer to extinction I'm raiding the bargain bins and this was a great find

I watch the Addams Family as often as I can. It is a funny movie with a great cast of characters. My favorite is Wednesday Addams with her morbid personality. If you need a good laugh, then this is one movie to watch.

Excellent release in 4K. The video and audio for an older movie was top notch and is well worth the upgrade from Mlu-ray.

What can I say, did we not grow up with this family? Spooky and crazy at the same time. On 4K it makes it that much better.

Very dark, light humor & a huge fan of Christopher Lloyd. I just like this movie and takes me back to being a kid when I first saw it. From a show into a movie, really good imo.

This film was part of my childhood, and my memories of this film are great. Christopher Lloyd is great in this film. I rank this higher than the squeal, but the squeal isn't a total disaster.
