Similar to 300, shows perspective and obstacles experienced on the Korean front and the stakes confronted by the admiral. But his loyalty to the country and eventually to his troops through actions and deeds enabled them to overcome overwhelming odds. This was a great classic story of the trials and tribulations of one man who seemingly had the entire world against him.

I was not expecting much from this movie when I bought it but it turned out to be fine. The story appears to be a Korean myth so many things were a little hard to believe but it was entertaining. The English lip-sync was OK if you concentrated on the action sequences.

Nice historical Korean movie. Can't say how accurate it is though. Some parts are hard to believe. Seems like it got the "Hollywood" touch. Good action once it gets there. You can watch it with subtitles or English dubbed. Nice option for whatever you prefer.

Roaring Currents Roaring Currents Roaring Currents. Pretty cool history of one of the wars. 12 ships against a ton. The storyline could have started better to better understand some of the characters but it's still pretty good movie.

This is the best sleeper film of the year. This movie is an epic naval masterpiece with awesome special effects. Better Battle Scenes than 300! Truly Fantastic! I reserve the right to always be unanimous in my own opinion.

Great film about a Korean Naval commander who acted to defend his country and people. The visuals and plot captivate individual stories that bring forth a time in Korean history many on the outside would have disregared.
