Great movie!!

Not the case they all loved it especially my son who's about the same age I was the first time I watched it. Great movie about friendship!

This is a classic from my childhood
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I remember seeing the previews for this movie after reading the book at 9 or 10. I saw it in the theaters and, for my age, I thought the acting was pretty good, Disneyesque. I enjoyed the broad shots of the river and the moral captured is a good lesson for kids. This movie will always be a personal classic and I've been looking for it now, 20 years later, to share with my son.
