Just imagine this as an old fashion "Hollywood Western" but set in Australia ... and with high-heels & sequins! It has it all ... travel, comedy, tragedy, drama, adventure ... and all that with Academy Award winning costumes! And for the record, no three "straight" actors have ever done a better job playing gay characters. The extras on the disc are almost as interesting as the main feature. Definitely ... people with left feet made this movie!

I have owned it for over 10 years and watch it over and over. This movie won awards for costume design and the cinematography at times is amazing. AND if you like ABBA music, even better! Great all around campy movie, definitely get this one.

The DVD has some interesting special features on it, but that doesn't help it from catering to a very niche audience.
