Everytime I listen to new music from Thrice I am more impressed. From the start of Artist in the Ambulance where they prove themselves worthy of being among the top of the hardcore genre, to Vheissu where they showed the stages of maturity we'd all been waiting for. Alchemy Index is ridiculously cool. Fire truly captivates the essence of the Hardcore genre, while Water dives deeper into the depths Thrice explored on their previous album. Songs like Firebreather and Digital Sea are available for a listen on the web.

Man this album shreds!!! its a perfect album, i love the direction the band has taken with their music, they are really talented musicians. Both discs are awesome, giving you the perfect blend of hard and softer songs. I loved the water CD the best because I never thought I would hear thrice making the more electronic, and atmospheric type of music, and they did it perfectly. Fire is also amazing, especially the track firebreather. Just go buy the album guys, you wont be disapointed

I would say that this is Thrice's best album to date, only because Volumes 3 and 4 of The Alchemy Index haven't been released yet. It's the perfect blend of hard rock and electronic experimental stuff. Their sound and quality is fantastic, especially considering they recoreded and produced the album themselves. The songs are deep (as always) and these guys might be the best group of musicians on the market. Go out and buy as soon as you can!

I highly recommend this album especially if you like good punk rock and Thrice is up there at the top in my opinion with great sound variations and deep lyrics. Also check out their Vheissu album which is just as good.

This album is awesome. This is only the beginning, where the elements of Fire and Water are present. I can't wait for the next album where more natural elements will be presented through their musical genius!

This is a great cd it just came out today... i haven't actually gotten the cd yet but i heard all the songs on their website and thrice really tears it up in this one, go buy it period

thrice does it again with another sweet album its a must buy period.......................................go get it now tomorrow or next week but get it soon you wont be disappointed
