I wanted to watch the first one again prior to going to the theater to catch Spiderman 2. Was surprised when it came with a code to get a $10 towards Spiderman 2. It was great to watch Spiderman 1 in 3D and home and then go the next day to see #2.. The sound and 3D feel was great on my Sony TV. Will be watching it again when #2 comes out on DVD.

If you are a Spiderman fan, you will probably like it. I get a little tired of super hero movies being done over and over, but I did like it. Three discs were included. Nice movie to see in blu-ray, but you have the option of regular DVD too. I don't do the ultraviolet thing, but I'm sure it's a nice feature for some. Best thing was I got it from Best Buy's website for only $10. Did the store pick up, which is always great.

Tobey and Sam made THE Spider Man movies for the ages. I feel it was too soon to reboot the franchise with fresh faces so soon after but Hollywood didn't ask me. I saw this in theatres and was pleasantly surprised by the film. Owning this in 3D is very nice. The depth and pop out factors are very well done. 3D releases are expensive so when you can snatch one up for less than $10, do so.

This is one of my favourite films and now I get to see it in 4K Mastered! Definitely recommend but it's important to note that this is "mastered in 4K" on BD and that this is not a 4K film on BD. You must have a BD Player that has the capability of playing back xv.YCC color, a 4K UHDTV and the cables to get the full benefit of the expanded color! This movie is OK, although I wish they would stop remaking SpiderMan!

This franchise could have been great with a bit more character development and an abandoning of the origin story. Still they made the effort to take Spidey back to his comic roots and that's got to count for something right? Andrew Garfield is also a much stronger Peter/Spidey, but it's Emma Stone that will keep you transfixed on the screen. Grab some popcorn and your 3D glasses and enjoy. EXCELSIOR!

You can imagine how cool it would be to watch a SpiderMan movie in 3D. Or any super hero for that matter who spends ample time in the sky. This is one of those films that gives you the feel that you're there with Spidey on his hunts throughout the city. Story line chonicals Peter Parker's beginning from family to getting bit and becoming the famous, sometimes infamous, SpiderMan. Lots of fun and great shots of New York. Check it out!

From the original movie series, I was really happy with the first two. I didn't care as much for the last one, only because I felt that Venom should have been a bigger stand alone villain. But, they left Dr. Conners barely touched in the original movies. So for a reboot, not that they really needed to reboot it, they used Dr. Conners. Pretty cool, and probably my favorite part is the POV when he is swinging around New York.

Here we have another installment in the Marvel universe, and a new spin on Spider-Man. It may not be as amazing as the Amazing Spider-Man should be, but it's still better than whiny Toby McGuire, who made Peter Parker look like a giant sissy if a super-hero. The only highlight to that series is William Defoe and James Franco. At least this Spider-Man is a smart Alec while not being a sissy at the same time.

This version of Peter Parker played by Andrew Garfield takes the character to another high flying level. Rhys Ifans as The Lizard/Dr. Curt Connors is intense! Also, Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy, Spideys stunning love interest does not disappoint. Denis Leary as Captain Stacy is surprisingly more serious than many of his previous wisecracking roles but still delivers. Comic fans will be blown away!

I have seen it several times and it is amazing in 3D. Much fun for my grandkids with a hero and heroine and villain but done in a nice way. I have seen SpiderMan TWo and enjoyed number one better. This one seems somewhat believable and there are several surprises that keep you watching but 3D make it a great movie. Both 7 and 11 year old watched all the way through and told me how much they loved it.

This movie is kind of a reboot of the three previous Spider-Man movies. It follows more of the ultimate Spider-Man comics. Andrew Garfield does a good job of portraying Spider-Man but falls a bit short as Peter Parker. The cgi of the movie is great but the camera angles might make you a bit sick. Being a Spider-Man fan, I recommend this movie for anyone who is interested in a movie night of fun.

This movie was amazing. I watched the other 3 Spider-mans before but when I watched this movie... It is by far the best one!! And the price? Best buy had this movie on sell for 10 bucks you can't beat that!! Great movie for kids, adults, just an all around great family movie. If you love spiderman, superheroes or just great action movies in general. Get this movie!! You won't regret it I promise.

Happily, Andrew Garfield brings the wise-cracking Spider-Man from the comics to the big screen, which was missing in Sam Raimi's films. Tobey MacGuire played nerdy Peter Parker better, but overall I prefer Garfield's performance. And no question, Emma Stone is far better as Gwen Stacy than Kirsten Dunst was as MJ. So glad they followed the comic by introducing Gwen as Peter's first girlfriend.

Although I really enjoyed the first two movies of the Spiderman trilogy with Tobey Maguire, I thought Andrew Garfield more accurately portrayed Peter Parker's persona and character. Advances in CGI and cinematography also played a significant role in the quality of this particular movie, while subtle changes in the story line helped stave off redundancy. Overall...very enjoyable movie!

I'll keep this simple. Solid movie. The steelbook case and artwork is (in my opinion) the best out there. I also love that it has Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3D, DVD, and a digital copy, so that helps make up for the price (though still not cheap). Best Buy often has the best exclusives particularly with regards to steelbook blu rays, so if you enjoyed this movie, I recommend this particular version.

This reboot follows the recent trend of making our superheroes more down to earth and human with flaws and emotions like the rest of us. Not the most original concept but it's played out reasonably well in this movie. It also provides a romance that less fairy tale liner than the previous series. Good performances all around. The lead actor is just slightly out of his depth.

I really enjoyed this re-envisioned Spider-Man. The actors were all wonderful. The last act was a little disappointing, but the movie as a whole revitalized the franchise. The 3D for this movie is one of the worst in my collection with only a handful of scenes even being worth watching in 3D. But other than that, it is a great blu-ray and must-have for any Spidey fans.

Spiderman is one of the more popular super heroe franchises in comics and films. This reboot was good, but not great. The whole restarting from scratch although was different and cool, had been done so we wanted something different. We got new characters and villian, but essentially the same cookie cutter storyline as previous ones. I still like it though and would watch again and glad to own.
