This new reboot of the spiderman movies is the beginning of a series of new movies made by Marvel comics showcasing the super hero and the villains he must defeat as he learns more about who he is and ,in this version, who his father was and how it affects, his powers and his life. The cast are entertaining and funny. They capture the spirit of the characters, and make them relatable to our time.

I highly recommend buying this movie especially if you have not seen it yet, its an A plus in my book. At first I doubted it since Tobey Maguire was not in it, but I was wrong I really enjoyed this movie and in my opinion Andrew Garfield portrays Spider man a bit better he's just like him and not only that great action scenes especially with The Lizard, and a lot common with the comics.

The Movie was entertaining, and had good sequences of action and such, but if you are looking for spiderman that actually follows the comics, look elsewhere. many of the details in here are ... not quite accurate. Yes, I know I am talking about comic book, but really? Anyway, if you are looking to be entertained without focusing on the origins, then this is a good movie.

This latest comic book hero movie stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone and is a reboot from the previous Spiderman Movie. It starts from the beginning with a slightly different origin but is easy to follow and doesn't take up that much of the movie. This version comes with a HD Digital Copy and can be redeemed and streamed online through various apps.

It was surprising when Sony announced that they'd reboot Spider-Man, especially only after 5 years since the previous installment. That being said, I think they did a good job on this film. I really liked that they started way back. If you like Spider-Man, you'll definitely like this one. Definitely a worthy popcorn flick. Recommended.

I liked Sam Raimi's take on Spider-man, especially the Doc Ock one. However, this new movie nails it in nearly every way. This version is closer to the original comic book and even though I waited for the DVD because I couldn't imagine they could make a better Spider-Man movie than the Raimi trilogy, they did it. If you like Spidey you really don't want to ignore this take on the character.

This Amazing Spider-man helps to get the bad taste of Spider-man 3 out of my mouth. While not perfect, it's way better than the last Raimi outing. Garfield is adequate as Peter Parker and I quite like Emma Stone's portrayal of Gwen Stacy. The new suit is hideous, but it appears to get a lot closer to the version we all know and love in the sequel.

Probably one of my favorite reboots of an existing comic book movie franchise. Andrew and Emma have amazing on-screen chemistry and Andrew plays Spiderman as he is meant to be played: a mouthy sarcastic teenager with a love of science. Of course, if I were trying to take a picture of some creature so I had proof, I wouldn't use a camera that has my name all over it.

Good movie overall. Bought it because it was on sale and I am trying to increase my 3d library. First half of the movie doesn't contain very much action, therefore not much of a 3d experience except for the basic sense of depth. But the last half is by far more impressive. Haven't watched any of the special features, so I can't comment.

I really liked the Spiderman movies with Toby McGuire, so I was not expecting too much out of this new version. But I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the 3D amazing, but the story was well thought out and presented in a manner that truly pull at your heart. I still like the first version, but this one stands on it's own as an equal alternative.

When i first saw this movie in theaters, i thought it was okay but i was use to the old Spiderman movies. But i went and bought this one and rewatched it and now i can say this spiderman is better. He is a better fix for spiderman and he even looks better in the suit more like the comic version of spiderman can not wait for the 2nd on sinister six!!!! Wooooo

If you like super hero movies you will enjoy this movie. It's a different take on the Spiderman franchise, taken from the Amazing Spiderman comics. The story is very good and the cast is believable and action/effects are done very well. I highly recommend this movie if you want a different take on a familiar super hero story.

I liked the original Spider-Man movies that came out before. When I heard that they were rebooting the Spider-man universe I was a little worried that it would just be a rehash of the other movies, I was wrong. This movie is fantastic! It brings the best of the previous movies and add a fresh new face and twists. I'm very satisfied on how it turned out.

My choice to purchase this video was due to Black Friday deals at BB. I've never seen the movie and I wanted to watch it. The free shipping that was offer was great but the cardboard shipping package was torn and you could easily see all 3 movies that I ordered. Very disappointed in BB for using such cheap materials.

The villain was incredible even though he is not an A list comic bad guy. I liked the focus of the movie without the multiple bad guys working together. Much better than Electro in # 2 who was lame and not like the comic character. Having a tall British Spider-Man was not the best but OK.

Surprised at how well I liked this movie. New actor for Spider-Man, but just as good of a movie as the previous ones. Not as good as Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Winter Solider. Though, you should enjoy a new look into Peter Parker. Be sure to buy this in the Sony buy one get one free sale. Two movies for $10.00 that's a great deal.

I loved this version of Spider-man compared to the release in the early 2000's. This was more like the comics and the enemies seem to appear in the correct order. I can't wait for the sequel, however, its only been a few years since Spider-Man 3 was released. Studios should really wait prior to remaking a movie franchise.

Overall i really enjoy and like this movie. It has some elements that take the character back to its roots, introduced Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and provided a new villain! That said I didn't care for the change in the relationship to Uncle Ben or the "first-gen" suit.

The original Spiderman movies were great to begin with and I was skeptical that the new update would be just as good. There are things that are definitely better such as Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, but Peter Parker's actor is hilariously bad sometimes. The plot that is being set up is very intriguing, but it feels like a more incomplete film.

I do like 3D movies (even with the tech drawbacks). Visuals were pretty good (4-Stars for eye candy). The franchise is somewhat tired after rebooting so close to the first series. Luckily the update has introduced "new" villians and sets up the upcoming movies. I would recommend this title when it goes on sale!!!
