Andrew Garfield makes a much better Peter Parker than Toby McGuire, no offense to the fans of the original trilogy as I loved them to. This one was just...better. Andrew Garfield seemed to bring more charisma to the role.

Great blu-ray - really clear transfer. Excellent movie. Spider-man is amazing - the special effects / CGI, etc. really bring the story to life and it's easy to believe that he really cab swing through the streets

If you can't tell by my nickname, I happen to love a good 3D movie. Let me tell you spiderman in 3D is pretty awesome. Lots of immersion, depth and popout effects. It's a must have for the 3d connoisseur, plus it was on sale. I got it for 10, but its normally around 20+. So if you see it on sell again pickup a copy.

I think James Garfield does an excellent job as Spidey. I was getting tired of T. Macguire, who seemed too whiny. Emma stone and dennis leary also do great jobs. Action scenes are of course awesome in high def. I just wish the digital copy was itunes, since my library is stocked with those movies, and this is not compatible with apple tv.

The graphics are very good, but the movie leaves a lot to be desired. That said, it was a solid origins movie, and the third best live action Spider-Man film out of the five so far released by SONY. The Blu-Ray itself has decent bonus features, and the UV Digital Copy is a nice extra for the price.

I follow a lot of comic book movie adaptations, and this is a decent interpretation. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's still good entertainment. As most avid comic book movie followers would agree, these Spider-man flicks would be better if it was done directly by Marvel Studios and not Sony.

The movie is a interesting portrayal of the spider man franchise. Where past movies were stifled by over dramatic acting and sluggish story plots "amazing" takes a comic book approach to the look and feel of spider man's NYC. The actors are fresh faced with no previous works overshadowing the performances. Very enjoyable movie.

When I watched this movie I was blown away both from the effects and the new take on Spiderman, going back to the original roots in that Spiderman has a love interest in Gwen Stacey and doesn't naturally produce his own webs. The villian was a great one that couldn't really have been done well until now.

The spiderman franchise is reborn with a new lead actor and a new back story to drive it. This is a mixed bag: The new actor does not seem to have the acting ability or charisma of Tobey Maguire. On the other hand, the new connection with Peter Parker's father and Oscorp leads to intriguing possibilities.

As Tobey McGuire holds a special place in my heart since I was a kid Andrew was a decent welcome at the time I think people give this movie especially the amazing Spider-Man 2 to much negative ignoreing all the good

Is visually stunning I can't believe how great you know Blu-ray can be with this amazing visuals but the only thing that I had a problem with some Parts with the story but besides that a great Spiderman movie and better than the second one and I would definitely recommend this

This is the beginning of another series about Spider-Man. It is very similar to the original spider-man movie, however there is a new cast of characters. If you enjoyed the original spider-man movies then you will like this, If you are looking for a new take on spider-man you may not like it so much.

Not a fan of Reboots. Spiderman had 3 reboots, but I still feel Toby Maguire is the best Spiderman and the original 3 are best and line up well with the comic book version

This movie is just a ton of fun. Andrew Garfield is a great choice and I really enjoyed this movie. I was worried that the digital code included witht he discs wouldn't work since the expiration date was long past, but not to worry. I used the code without issue, YAY!

I grew up watching the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man, but I loved this new Spider-Man! It was very good, and of course it's a great start to a "Spider-Man" universe. What I liked the most was that Spidey had to create his own web-slingers, that's more true to the comics. Overall, you won't regret getting this movie.

Finally a decent adaptation of Stan Lee's golden creation keeping far closer to the comic history than any other movie thus far. Seeing the awkward science student flourish when facing a challenging problem and the great New York comebacks make the movie all the more enjoyable for a comic fan

This movie is another tells the origin of Spider-Man in his rebooted franchise. This adaptation is more closer to the comics, and merges the original origin of Spider-Man with the origin of the Ultimate Comics version. Pretty fun movie and most Spider-Man fans will like it.

If you have no patience for comic remakes then don't bother. Overall it's a good film though nothing really stands out to make it a must see it doesn't have anything so horrible that I would never watch it again either. Good pace and acting and the must-have romance is not too unbearable.

I really enjoy and love the original Spider Man movies with Tobey Maguire but this one The Amazing Spider Man is definitely amazing. I really liked this one a lot, the picture, sound everything looks great and for a great price. A must have for everyone to enjoy, it also stays true to the Comics.
