The Americans is one the best series on cable TV. You can't help but root for the Russian spies, especially ones as attractive as the lead couple in this series. It also provides interesting historical tidbits of the 1980's. Can't wait until they end the series in order to see how this family turns out.

Terrific show. Writing and acting have remained excellent throughout. My only complaint is, the first season was available as a Bluray, subsequent seasons have only been available as DVDs. This is not a trend I endorse. A show of this high quality deserves the best presentation possible.

Must viewing for anyone who is interested in the cold war and the attitudes and beliefs of the adversaries. The portrayal of the characters is spot on. This is a series that could go on for a long time. Definitely does not get the attention from the awards shows it should.

The Americans is one of the best shows ON TV. Tells the story of 2 Russian sleeper agents posing as a married couple in DC to spy on the USA Don't want to give the plot away but it's a twisty, suspense filled show. Kerri Russell is amazing as the tough as nails spy.

Season 4 is yet another in which skilled actors and a too-small staff of versatile writers are sometimes defeated by the producers' unwillingness or inability to obtain and spend the money that would make this series as good as it could and should be.

The stakes get even higher in season 4 for the Russian spies pretending to be a normal American family. Their teenage daughter knows who they are now...and she told someone. Because of that, their whole operation is in danger. Plus, they have a new contact (a fellow Russian deep-cover spy) involved in America's biological weapons program smuggling them extremely dangerous diseases. There is friction and peril on every front this season. Don't miss it!

Show is excellent. If you're not watching by now - buying the DVDs is a good way to catch up in a hurry. I have seen every episode as broadcast on TV and then bought every season as it came out. #4 was excellent. Add it to your collection.

I loved the 1980s.. genre of movies and television and history.. which this show is based upon during the cold war with U.S. and Soviet Union- would recommend people buying this season and 1-3 as well.

I started watching this show after reading positive reviews and on advice of friends. Truly as engaging as a page turning spy novel. Character development is so good, you almost forget they're the enemy!

Very happy that I am able to watch my favorite shows any time I would like for a very reasonable price. I had to go to various locations to get all that i wanted but it was worth it, in the end.

You really need to be watching this show! It's the best show on TV in my opinion & it gets better every season. Top notch acting & writing, with multiple Emmy nominations. Definitely worth watching!

This show keeps getting better and better. I don’t know how more people don’t talk about this show. Even in the fourth season I am still as interested as I was when the series first began.

This a great video of the TV series. It cronicals the Cold War between the US and Russia. The series is addictive and makes you want to see more since the story line makes you think what is next.

One of the best limited series on cable TV. Acting is always top notch, and the intricate plots show a different side of 1980's America. It's hard not to root for the Russian KGB spies.

Into this series and one starts to see some fatal judgments by the main characters as well as internal conflict about their assignments.

This show for me was kind of under the radar. Came across it last year and absolutely love it. Great original story, great acting, and great story telling. Highly recommend

Best show on television. Every episode keeps you on the edge of your seat. Intrigue and suspense best describe this spy thriller. Love the setting of the 80s. Very believable.

Another excellent season of the one of the best shows on tv since the turn of the millennium - through it is a crying shame there is only a dvd, and not a blu-ray, release.

The Americans, any season, is one of the best tv series ever made. Each season is better than the last. Great cast, writing & direction. Ranks with House of Cards & Homeland.
