This is a very well done remake of a classic sci-fi movie. Even the implications that this kind of event could possibly happen in real life is chilling. The possible end of man kind doesn't necessarily have to be highly advanced aliens set on a quest to conquer but instead what is portrayed in this movie. As a sci-fi fan I highly recommend watching this remake of a classic with some additional plot twists.

SiFi 2008 mini series about a virus. I really enjoyed it. One of those I can watch over again.

I was alittle reluctant to watch this version simply because of a review that I had read. But I went ahead and watched it on T.V., and I was very, very pleased with the whole movie. I was so impressed with it, that I went ahead and bought the DVD version so that I would have the bonus features as well. Usually some "mini-series" have 'dead spots/fillers' which usually are the parts where you get up to get a cola or a snack, but honestly...... this movie was enthralling all the way through. great version, great entertainment, I definately recommend it.

I loved it. It was a great DVD. I love watching shows about things that have you wondering whats gonna happen if the world is gonna end.

I have read the book, seen the original movie 50 times, I was excited about the thought of a re-make and VERY VERY disappointed. Look at the description - ADAPTED from Crichton (R.I.P.) - I am sure he was disappointed as well...
